Only a 20-minute drive to Mudgee and surrounded by the region's best vineyards, Tiny Truck at Ithaca offers a real country escape with an unforgettable twist. Built on an intact original 1957 International Harvester dual-wheel farm truck, the cosy stay offers a lofted queen bed, full-bathroom and kitchenette. With an undercover outdoor area looking out over the paddocks and rolling hills—you can cosy up around the fire pit under the stars or fire up the BBQ and watch the sheep and alpaca graze.
Set on a sheep and alpaca farm and moments from the iconic Frog Rock, you’ll have plenty of space to roam. Compact but well-stocked, inside you’ll find a comfy queen bed situated under exposed rafter beams and skylights with blackout blinds. An analogue TV caters to your entertainment needs, while a Dyson fan, portable AC unit and electric heater keep you comfortable year-round. The bathroom features a shower with an instantaneous gas hot water system, timber vanity, and a composting toilet.

A kitchenette allows you to prep and cook simple meals at home with a Nespresso coffee maker, portable hot plate induction stove, toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave. An undercover outdoor area features a table setting, fire pit and BBQ for alfresco dining under the stars. Watch beautiful sunsets over the hills whilst sipping away at a Mudgee wine. Parking is right at the front gate with easy access for all vehicles.

Please note that the TV is analogue and comes with a DVD player. There is no Wi-Fi available. Telstra and Optus phones have service, but Vodafone and other carriers may experience limited coverage.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire tiny house to yourself. Please make yourself at home!

Moments from the iconic Frog Rock and dozens of bushland walks, this home is the perfect stay for those looking to spend more time close to nature, while still being a 20-minute drive to Mudgee. There’s plenty to do in the area. Stop by Small Batch Brew Co. if you love home brewing and good quality beer or organise a horse ride at Mudgee Horse Riding Centre. Just a quick drive to dozens of wineries and vineyards, go for a tasting at Lazy Oak Vineyard & Wines and buy a bottle to take home at Lowe Family Wine Co.

Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.

We absolutely loved the truck! We stayed when it was quite cold but the heater works well. Such a beautiful quiet place. The shower is awesome after a long day being on gas hot water. We can’t wait to be back. Such country charm with lovely views all around.

The listing fails to disclose the state of the property. Do not trust the drinking water. Expect to be informed at checkout that you must dispose of your own toilet waste (or use the long drop dunny). Be prepared for cobwebs, dust, live spiders and dead insects inside the 'tiny house'. Communication was responsive, but limited by no wifi or phone service at the property. Absolutely not with the rate charged.

Perfect getaway for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life! Quiet location with great surrounding areas. My only concern was a lack of a sink in the kitchen to clean up with. I did find a bucket to do all the cleaning so only a minor inconvenience.

Property was fantastic and well catered for, bed very comfortable. Remember to look underneath bathroom sink for detergent. Might be helpful for a night light at gate of Tiny House if arriving at night, as we became a little confused in finding it in the dark. Would be easy in daylight though.
