Kenso Cottage 28 –Small walk shops, cafes, Markets

What a great little house, very clean with everything we needed. Easy walk to local Shops, cafes and restaurants. Great host , excellent communication and recommendations.

The property was clean, comfortable, safe and central with all that you would require for a visit to the area. Appreciated the backyard for the dog to run around in. Certainly worth a stay and on top of our list next time we visit the region. Thank you Jason and Wendy.

This place was really central to eating and shopping in Mudgee. Spacious and very nicely done wkth everything needed. Very good communication

The minute my brother and I arrived, we felt over all tranquility. The cottage was immaculate, comfortable and very cosy. I am from interstate so we catch up annually. This is by far the nicest holiday cottage we have stayed in. Thank you to our hosts

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The condition, and character, of the property was outstanding. The beds were exceptionally comfortable along with other the furnishings in the living areas. The open fireplace was awesome. We'd never used one before and it was good to realise I hadn't lost my old boy scouts skills in getting a cosy fire going! If open fires aren't your thing, there is air-conditioning as well as heaters. The backyard was great for our Cavelier King Charles Spaniel who enjoyed sniffing around and checking things out.The location was perfect for us with Woolworths being just around the corner, a pet friendly hotel a few doors up, and the main shopping strip all within walking distance. The Mudgee area overall is well worth a visit with many wineries and historic towns to explore. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We did have a couple of requests and they were no problem at all to them. The weather was not always the best during our 3 night stay but I reckon if we asked if they could do something about it, they may well have been straight down to one of the local churches to pray to the good Lord for the skies to clear! Such lovely people. Having said that, even with the weather, my wife and I and fur kid definately still had a very enjoyable time in Mudgee.

I think it would have been great to have a welcome book/letter explaining where everything was and local information ( where Woolies was, restaurants etc) Updated cutlery and serving utensils and bowls/platters would have been good too. It was clean, great location, air con, everything we needed.

Kenso Cottage is in a great location, handy to everything you need. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating with all the essentials. The cottage's rear dog-safe yard is fantastic for relaxing with a cuppa or a glass of wine and plenty of room for kids to run around and play ball games. Love it.

We had two nights in Kenso Cottage. It is a clean, well appointed residence just steps from the centre of town. Check-in instructions were clear, and it had great under-cover off-street parking. The cottage was spotlessly clean and everything we needed for our trip. The backyard had a gorgeous shady tree that was terrific for a late afternoon drink on the two hot days we visited. Inside was air conditioned - if you needed it. We could walk everywhere and only needed our car to visit the vineyards out of town. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Kenso Cottage 28 for 4 nights and it was wonderful! The cottage was spotlessly clean, very spacious and very well equipped. Location was perfect, and we were able to walk to everything in town. Jason and Wendy were wonderful hosts with great communication and helpful assistance. We loved Mudgee with all the great produce, cafes, pubs, shops, wineries and walks, and will definitely return to stay at Kenso Cottage.

Great place to stay - dog friendly with lovely big back garden. Very comfy beds too - would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was so lovely. Perfect location, nice and spacious and quiet. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay!

Kenso Cottage is in a great location within walking distance to all the conveniences Mudgee has to offer. We had everything we needed towels, linen, toiletries and a well equipped kitchen. The beds were warm and comfortable with good heating available with the aircon and extra heaters. The backyard is huge however the fence was not secured in places so I couldn’t leave my pug outside on her own.In saying that I would definitely come back we had a lovely stay!
