Stayed Oct 17, 2024Our stay was one of the best! We take a long weekend trip to the mountains every fall with our two sons and their families. The house is very spacious. Six bedrooms and they each have their own bathroom - such a plus! We took day trips to Hillsville, Galax and Mt. Airy (Mayberry - everything Andy Griffith) - a really FUN day. The house sits adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We highly recommend “Timeless Hillsville Farmhouse”.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024House has some unfinished business, electrical wires out of walls, outlets in coffee bar area wd not work, no where to hand towels or put your luggage other than in floor, no towel racks, no toilet paper holders. Now the outside, it looked awful. Weeds and overgrowth of grass was out of control. Vines growing out of gutters and up the outside of house. No blind or window coverings downstairs. Kids felt exposed. Don’t get me wrong, the house was clean but it needs some tweaking. We hope to come back next year and hope these things are fixed.

Stayed Aug 7, 2024House was very nice, new and clean. Stairs to enter the house are tall and there are no railings. All bedrooms are on the second and third floors, as are the showers and washer/dryer.

Stayed Jun 7, 2024We loved this rental! So much space for everyone! The kitchen/dining space was perfect for meals. We loved having a bathroom for each bedroom. Perfect location for hiking, kayaking, and enjoying the Blue Ridge Parkway. Secluded, but just a short drive from restaurants and wineries. The host was very attentive and informative. Would recommend!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This house was perfect for a girl’s weekend to the wineries. The host was wonderful at responding. House was fully stocked. The only complaint I would have is the sulfur smell of the water and no window treatments on the bottom floor. I would stay again if I needed to stay in the area with a larger crowd.
