Sleeping up to eight, this charming house on a quiet street near the ocean is set up with everything you need to enjoy the gorgeous coastal town of Culburra with your family and pets. With its coastal décor and cosy vibes, as soon as you arrive and smell the sea salt in the air, you’ll already be settled in for a relaxing holiday.

With air conditioning and outdoor seating for the summer, and heaters and a bath for thewinter holidays, this house is equipped for all seasons. For those rainy days, the garage has been converted into a games room, containing a dartboard, table tennis, foosball, lounge, and full-sized fridge. It’s the perfect undercover entertainment for adults and kids, and a welcome respite from the heat on sunny days. Your furry friends can be safely ensconced within the fully fenced garden too. Whether inside or outside, there’s plenty of room for everyone, although you’ll have to draw straws for the room with a queen bed and its own TV.

When mealtimes come around, everyone can gather at the table in spacious living areas—either inside or outside—and enjoy fish and chips from down the road in the air conditioning, or cook up a storm on the backyard grill to enjoy the sun and sea breeze. There’s even an herb garden if you’ve got a chef in the family, or a slow cooker if you prefer to let technology do the work for you. We have no doubt you’ll want to stay for a while at this gorgeous property, so take your time and appreciate all the options Tilly’s Retreat provides for you to come together or spread out and enjoy some alone time. For some quality bonding activities, grab a console controller or a board game and defeat your loved ones in a mighty battle of wits and skill, or choose from their book collection and read outside in the hammock with an espresso.

Once you’re fed and rested, it’s time to see the sights! The shining sands and sparkling waves of Warrain Beach and Culburra Beach are just a few minutes walk away, as is Penguin Head with its breathtaking view off the point of the headland with the ocean all around you. You can even hop in the car and drive the short distance to explore Culburra Beach’s local shops and restaurants; the owners recommend Bamboleo Pizzeria Café for dinner! Of course, Tilly’s Retreat will be waiting for you to come back, rinse off the sand in the outdoor shower, and settle on the deck with some cold beers to watch the sun set. For a magically unique experience, grab the telescope from inside and see how many constellations you can spot in the clear coastal night sky.
