THUNDERDOME (awesome Dome House) Unique home with Beautiful views/Comfy and Cozy

Wonderful stay at The Thunderdome! Our family had a great stay at this fun and unique property. It had everything we needed and more! And the hosts were fantastic.

The property was as described. From the back deck you can see the beautiful sunset by the mountains. The area was quiet and the house had everything we needed. Communicating with the host was easy and great.

The house is very unique. The location was perfect for getting around the front range. Liked that the neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thunderdome. Some of the highlights of this home include: Great location with mountain views, beautiful sunrises, hot air balloons fly over in the morning and small planes often take off/land from nearby runways. The neighborhood is very quiet and felt very safe. We loved the arcade game and the firepit. Tammy and Greg were excellent hosts and communication with them was top notch. We would recommend this home to anyone traveling to Erie!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thunderdome! My husband and his parents stayed here for our daughter's graduation from CU Boulder, and this was perfect for that - it was peaceful and quiet, and we spent a lot of time on the patio around the fire pit, enjoying the spectacular views of the mountains. The house had comfortable sofas and plenty of seating for everyone, the beds were comfortable too. Our daughter's boyfriend is a pilot, so he flew her to the house from Boulder and we had a really fun family celebration there. We also got an opportunity to fly with him and use the very awesome airstrip, see the countryside from the air or watch the takeoffs/landings! Everything was just what we needed and everyone was really happy with the place. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing place!

Host was responsive when asked for more blankets. Unique property, edge of town peacefulness but not far from our venue.

Cute house! My kids loved the video games. They had a cute old looking juke box that could play records and CD’s but we couldn’t get it to work. They had deep cleaned the carpet the morning of our arrival so the carpets were all wet but they were clean and were dry by morning. The location was great and we appreciated the space for the kids to run around.

Love this location! Close to family I was visiting, great views, including hot air balloons! Great space inside and very quiet! Appreciated the prompt communication with the host prior to and during the stay.

House is great! View of the mountains fantastic! The handcrafted outdoor fire pit a work of art! The hosts, Tammy and Greg beyond gracious! The neighborhood beautiful and spacious! Hot air balloons dotting the sky in the morning. What a wonderful place to retreat from.................???

Great dome house, beautiful views, friendly host and neighbors, quiet and private

Great location, we spent our week here traveling all over Colorado and made an overnight trip up to Mount Rushmore. It’s about 10 minutes to a grocery store and it’s a nice and quiet location. This house has AC, so it was very comfortable even on the 90 degree days while we were there. Also has all the essentials you would need for a week such as a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, tv in the living room and downstairs bedroom. We saw a few planes take off and land, which was cool too. Tammy was very accommodating and was easy to get ahold of. The only downside was that I think the maintenance team may have had a mix up and some caretaking/cleaning was not done. Overall, was a nice place to stay with my husband and two children.

We were here from Sunday to Sunday for a softball tournament in Boulder! House was perfect & cozy. Weather was awesome! Will definitely look it up if I’m coming back to this area!

This was perfect for our family. Hosts were wonderful and even checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. They also had a pack and play available. We will be back!

Celebrating grandson’s birthday along with holiday festivities with relatives, it worked great. This being only the 2nd time with VRBO, we were looking for final clean up instructions but could not find any, so we did our best and hope all are happy. The place was a good value and stocked well.

Everyone loved staying here, kids and adults alike! It was cool being by the airstrip and watching the planes. The house was exactly how it was described, and a fun place to stay. Would stay there again.
