This is a traveler's haven

The VIEW, oh the view! Even with intermittent rain we were able to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful outdoor space. We used all five bedrooms, which was plenty space for the seven of us. The only drawback to the room adjacent to the kitchen is our daughter had to put up with the early risers, making coffee and turning on lights. Also, sometimes it was difficult to navigate through all the kitchen supplies/equipment, as there is far too much, lol. But otherwise, we had an incredible stay there, and look forward to staying again down the road.

Staying on the lake was magical! We spent most of our time just relaxing on the deck. Ate in for breakfast and dinner. Kitchen great for cooking! Dining room perfect for 8-10 folks. 5 separate sleeping areas - all good beds. Parking in driveway for 3 and street 1-2 more. Leslie reached out to us that week to set up the arrival. All smooth and easy. Ping pong in the garage was well fun too.

Very nice deck and hottub

We had a great stay. We chose the place due to the close proximity of the wedding we attended. The roomy and comfortable home was a plus and the view from the spacious back deck was spectacular! Beautiful and peaceful mornings enjoying that view while relaxing with coffee and breakfast was amazing. We will definitely book this place again. Thank you!

Host left us yummy snacks and a nice note! Very clear instructions about everything and everything was very clean and neat.

This home was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. Leslie was gracious and accommodating. She answered my questions about the kitchen equipment right away. The deck is stunning. We spend hours enjoying the views of the hills and the wildlife. We'll book this house again for our next trip to SLO!

Overall we enjoyed staying at this lovely property on the lake. Lots of space for 5 couples, double beds. Some rugs not so clean. Otherwise had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay there.

Leslie’s home is a happy home. The home is beautifully and comfortably decorated. Smiling photos of Leslie’s family adorn the walls. The home has such a positive vibe that you can’t help but absorb the good energy of the place. Our family of eight enjoyed the lake view and all of the comfort and amenities of the house. It is a quiet neighborhood from which we explored Avila Beach and the town of SLO. Our main reason to visit was for a family wedding in Edna. The house was perfect and convenient for this purpose. Morning coffee on the deck while bird watching and chatting was our favorite activity. This is Leslie’s happy place which makes you want to take extra care in keeping it lovely.

Wonderful stay at Leslie’s home, she really made it feel like home away from home. We had everything we could possibly need.

The back deck steals the show! The home is very comfortable and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Outside is where we spent most of our time, though. 70 degrees in July (some of us came from Alabama) and a wide variety of birds to watch and identify. I definitely recommend you consider this home for your next visit to SLO.

Lovely property and great views of the lake

We had an amazing stay at this home! Waking up to the beauty of Laguna was unforgettable, and our family will cherish this trip for years to come.

The house was very inviting and comfortable, the view on the patio was amazing, my family enjoyed are little get away, we would most definitely recommend this house to friends and family.

Peaceful, beautiful location on Laguna Lake

I came to SLO for my sisters wedding and this was the perfect house for our family. My 4 year old said the playroom was the best room he’s ever seen in his whole life! Leslie was great, awesome stay!

We had a wonderful weekend here. Leslie was responsive and welcoming. We had a couple family gatherings out on the deck and the view was absolutely gorgeous. The kids play room and ping pong table were a hit.

Leslie was a wonderful host and the place was super clean! Will definitely try to stay here again next time i’m in San Luis Obispo.

We stayed due to overflow at a family home during a Celebration of Life! This stay was a blessing in many ways! There were many similarities to the family home which were welcoming and comforting. A 32 year neighbor of my parents (family home) coincidentally knew Leslie, our host and described her as a “great woman.” The house was lovely and clean. It was wonderful viewing the look from the other end!

Leslie’s SLO Lakeside Lodge was a big hit with my family, even better than we expected. Leslie thoughtfully provided us with some nice gifts for our arrival, and everything was clean and well laid out. The view was as lovely as it is in her pictures, the hot tub was terrific and accessible, and even the weather cooperated mostly. Location was very good, close to rock climbing, which we appreciated, and very close to restaurants and shopping. But still felt like a neighborhood. Wonderful lake with hiking trails

This was a perfect place for my family. Each adult had their own room. The deck is amazing and we spent most of our daytime hours out there overlooking the lake. Another special feature is an upstairs playroom for children where you can just let them go. Leslie is a wonderful host!

The setting is beautiful. The home is the primary residence of the owner. Lots of stuff to watch out for with little kids. The upstairs kids room is very hot with little ventilation. Be careful if you use the jacuzzi, we were charged for a repair on the cover frame that was already damaged. Take pictures of everything that isn’t perfect.
