This spacious property is a collection of converted traditional barns, best described as a minimalistic return to Sifnian tradition with modern amenities.

It is the perfect getaway for large groups to reconnect. Brunch on the terrace next to the pool, soak up the Greek island sun, relax, meditate, and enjoy the unspoiled view of the Sifnean nature.

The property is completely isolated from traffic and other disturbances and within walking distance of the main village of the island, Apollonia.

There are three houses on the property, perfect for families or a group of friends.

1. Main house
The first house is a traditional Sifnean-style house with a pergola. It has a total surface of 140m². It comprises four rooms, two of which are equipped with a double bed of 160cm, private bathroom and toilet. The other two rooms have two single beds of 90 cm and they share a bathroom and a toilet. Depending on the number of guests and their needs, one room can easily be transformed from a bedroom into a private workspace. Another small room functions as a storage room which includes a washing machine. The house has a spacious living room with an open and fully equipped kitchen and a stone fireplace. On the terrace in front of the house, in the shadow of the pergola, a big dining table welcomes all the guests for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

2. Middle House
The second house has a total surface of 75m² with one master bedroom with a double bed and another room with two single beds. Each room has a private bathroom and toilet. The house has a spacious fully equipped open kitchen and a seating area with a couch which could be used as an extra single bed. Outside, there is a large pergola with underneath a big dining table, an external shower sculptured in the original mountain rock and big verandas surrounding the house.

3. Third house
The third house is a fully renovated themonia of 45m². It consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with two couches which could serve as beds. The house has a small kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet. Outside there is an outdoor shower built into the rocks.

4. Pool and surroundings
Between the houses, there is a pool of 25 m² (10m x 2.5m) with a lounge area and an outside kitchen with traditional sifnean BBQ (panostria).

A very ancient threshing floor brings the visitor back to the original use of the property. The threshing floor (Aloni, in Greek) is a beautiful round stone construction which originally served for seed separation.

Between the second and third house there is a path leading onto a small hill on the property, the ideal spot for meditation and yoga.

The houses are stone-made with a bioclimatic design, offering a pleasant atmosphere day and night. Ceiling fans and airconditioning add air circulation and coolness.

The garden hosts the original vegetation of the hill and in addition planted Mediterranean plants and trees, such as cypress, old and young olive trees, lavender, thyme (thimari), oregano (rigani), figs (pick the soft ones!) and a vineyard expected to produce wine from next year.

Themonies is at the edge of the village, with mountain and valley views and within walking distance from the restaurants in Apollonia.
It is possible to access Themonies by a small car through the narrow ancient (cemented) footpath, although walking through the vilage is much more pleasant.
