The place was exactly like the description. Kitchen had everything. The place was clean and exceptional. The host was a great communicator. Checked in to ensure we were fine. I highly recommend the place.

This is the second time my family and I stayed at The Wine & Wilderness Hideaway and we are looking forward to coming back again next year! The host has great communication and will get back to you promptly. The property accomidated my toddler and kept her entertained for the week and we were able to have a few lounge days and the kitchen was able to accomidate our cooking needs. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and suit your needs, I definitely recommend spending some time here. As I mentioned, we will be back next year and looking forward until next year. Thank you again for letting us stay at your property.

Our overall stay was great! Anything we needed the property manager answered fairly quickly. The lake and drive to the property was beautiful. Only downside was besides ShopRite supermarket, all other stores or fast food seemed quite far. Besides this, we would stay again

Clean, well updates/decorated cozy home with great communication from the hosts

We had a lovely stay. I think it was the best stocked kitchen I’ve been in yet and the bedding was so comfy for winter (I need to find out where they get those pillows - they’re heavenly). The place is misleading from the outside but much more spacious than it looks on the inside. We would certainly return!

Armand and Olivia could not have been better hosts. The accommodations had everything we needed to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. Any questions were promptly answered and addressed. The only thing left for us to do was enjoy our time together. We will remember our visit fondly as a time when our family got to be with each other and relax at a very special place.

I want to start with the good! Cozy home, nice neighborhood, easy check in. However if you are staying in winter be ready for a cold stay. The bathroom in the primary does not heat up at all! Also when we checked in, the home felt like it hadn’t been lived in for awhile. It was dusty, stale, and spiders and cobwebs were everywhere! Did not like that. Also the drains in showers and sinks barely drained! Towels had stains and felt a little dirty. Just a heads up for next guests.

We only stayed here two nights because we were commuting into NYC for sightseeing and had tours booked in upstate NY. Wish we could have stayed longer or at least made use of the space more. Everything was stocked nicely for being a true home away from home. Extremely comfortable beds and very spacious for two couples.

The house is as cute as the pictures show. It's clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Everyone in our group slept well each night. Everything is clearly explained, both in the book that is for guests and also through the hosts communication. Armand and Olivia were in contact throughout our trip. They provided very helpful tips and suggestions for what to do in the area along with an open invitation to ask questions or provide feedback. Although, we really couldn't think of anything missing, (They provide everything we needed, plus some things we didn't even think of) so we had nothing to suggest. Our group of 4 are very thankful to have stayed here. It helped our trip to one of the most memorable trips.

We were very happy with our stay in this cozy home nestled in the New York/New Jersey area! It is very evident that the owners take great pride in their home…They were very prompt with their communication and made sure that our needs were well cared for during our stay. The area is beautiful & was even lovelier during the gorgeous fall season! We took a walk through the neighborhood & enjoyed the charming & beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable & the fire pit provided such a nice evening activity. Thank you for a great stay! We all enjoyed it very much & are thankful for our cozy home base during our trip!!

When we arrived the home was very easy to get to and there was ample parking. The instructions for the key was straight forward and the communication around this was great. We walked in the front door and we could tell we made the right decision on booking this home for our trip. Modern, clean and relaxing were our first impressions. We have a 3 year old and a small dog and this accommodated all of our family. We are looking forward to booking this house again next year!

Nestled in a quiet lake/mountain community, this lovely, spacious cottage is sure to please! We recently enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay which allowed us to explore and enjoy the area lakes and hikes and visit with family in near by Passaic County. Hosts Armand and Olivia are wonderful and the property is pet friendly too!

This charming lake house was exceptionally clean and modern with beds more comfortable than the Hilton hotel we also stayed at during this family road trip while driving up to the NJ/NY area. We picked this location because it was close to family we have living in the area and would happily book again in the future. The hosts are great communicators and the fees, though pricey, covered all cleaning so check-out was a breeze compared to Vrbo rentals we've booked in other locations in the past. Everything was worthy of a 5 Star Stay with the exception of the dishwasher being broken upon arrival.
