The White House Cottage

the place was amazing will definitely be coming back here again, i stayed here valentine’s weekend with my wife and it was a great place to stay for a nice breathe of fresh air away from home the area is a ice little town with a cozy atmosphere and the house is bigger and better in person the pictures don’t do it justice it really felt like home away from home

Nice, clean, comfortable. Not sure I agree with stripping the bed! Collect all linens, run the dishwasher & empty all garbage. I believe that all should be part of the cleaning deposit. It was a comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay at the white house cottage. We could hear the folks next door but thankfully they weren't loud late at night.

Well apportioned, welcoming place

The cottage was clean, small and quaint. The space was used well, but we missed having a separate space to watch tv in the evening. We moved another chair into the bedroom and made it work. Another group was next to us in the larger home and you could hear them, so if you’re traveling with dogs that are prone to bark at noises, then be advised. The yard was nice to have, but since it isn’t fenced in, the dogs had to be leashed, to make sure they didn’t run out into the road out front. There was road noise from the interstate, but it didn’t keep us from having a good night’s sleep. Lava Hot Springs is close by and should be enjoyed if you stay here.

Excellent place to stay,very clean and well supplied with everything needed. Stayed a week and it was a great place to stay.

We didn’t actually get to stay due to flight cancellations beyond our power. But communication was great and the owner made sure that if we were able to arrive, we could actually book it for the next night as well. We were very thankful for that even thought it didn’t work with our schedule.

The White House was very clean and very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again in the very near future.

The cottage was really cute and most about the home was fine. Our only changes would be the mattress. It was extremely uncomfortable. The head of the bed was bent and leaned towards the wall. The most uncomfortable mattress we have ever slept on. The toilet paper and paper towel was minimally stocked so had to buy for our stay.

This is a very little cottage. Very cute, very clean. We were very happy with the management. The bed is very very soft. We stayed for 2 days, and found it comfortable.
