Amazing view and great location. Only small issue is that the parking spot is a bit small so it is a tight fit for larger vehicles.

Such a cute little house with a perfect view of the beach! Exactly what my Dad wanted for his 70th birthday, memories made to last a lifetime. :) Would def go back again!

Great house for escaping to the coast.

The owner has many properties, so if one is looking for a warm and personal encounter with the owner of an individual property, you won't find that here. That said, the property was well-appointed and felt homey.What stood out was the location. Uniquely situated on a bay, the location provided a view perpendicular to the waves (at high tide) and close-and-personal with the seagulls (at low tide). We could sit for hours mesmerized by nature.

Kitchen was Very well equipped. We used the slow cooker provided. Deck looked out onto where the Yachats River meets the ocean. We walked to restaurants and the state park right up the street. The beds were great. Parking space provided was tight but our truck fit. Would definitely return to this lovely cottage. Hiking opportunities were plentiful.

This house was cozy and welcoming. The views were amazing, and hiking trails and scenic overlooks of the ocean were very near by.

Comfortable and clean; excellent location by the ocean

We had a fantastic stay here. The view is beautiful and the location is great to walk to the shops. The house did have a musty smell when we got there, but it was fine after airing it out. The bedrooms are very small without any room to walk around in. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room is comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Cute upgraded kitchen/living/dining area. Patio and view of ocean/inlet gorgeous. Disappointed in bedrooms esp#2 really? Locked closet, various tv type trays to set down my suitcase; no chest of drawer..washer dryer unit in bedroom seems to have run over onto carpet in the past..very old carpet, but maybe owner plans to slowly remodel.Love the town and especially The Drift. Great burgers and pizza!Neighbors have 3 huge dogs which use their front deck as a toilet. They hose it off between the houses, but you cant always choose your neighbors.1st time ever been to a rental with no free coffee! Thankfully Yachats has one driveup.

We loved our weekend at the cottage! It was so lovely and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect with the amazing ocean view and walking distance to a grocery and restaurants. Furniture was comfortable and kitchen was well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay here! The cottage is comfortable and cozy with a nicely redone kitchen and bathroom. The location is amazing: close to stores and restaurants in Yachats and right on the 804 trail. Cape Perpetua is only a very short drive away. And, as the pictures show, the views are outstanding! We hope to stay here again!

A perfect location and wonderful deck to enjoy the afternoon aperitif! The home could use some upgrades and fresher appointments. It was clean, but somewhat of a down on it's luck feeling about it. But because of location, it fits quite well.

Everything was great. Views are wonderful. Lock box for keys needs some work but can be dealt with.

We had an amazing 3 nights in yachats enjoying the beautiful ocean. The beach house is located across from the sand dune/ocean. The view was spectacular. We enjoyed eating out on the deck morning and night. We also had fun watching wales from the deck. The place is a bit small, but for just the two of us, it was perfect. Since we are used to sleeping in a king bed, the place only offered 2 queen bedrooms which were a bit tight, but we each had our own room which was nice. There wasn't a reason we needed to spend much time in the rooms since all we wanted to do was sit in the front room or on the front deck. Can't get much closer to the water than this place. Also it's a quiet neighborhood, but so close to downtown, which we walked to to get groceries. Had dinner twice at Luna's fish house. The best! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Thank you for an amazing relaxing time! We will definitely be back!

View of ocean and tide changes was stupendous! I have never seen so many stars in the sky! We watched whales spouting. Easy access to restaurants, grocery store and restaurants

Great location in walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Amazing views of the coast and Yachats River where it meets the Pacific.

We had a wonderful stay! It was just the right size for my small family of 4 with an amazing location to walk to the lookout, farmers market and many cute shops. It was a short drive to the beach entrance. We saw amazing sunsets and even a seal. The house had everything we needed.

A perfect little stay in Yachats with a great view! We enjoyed seeing sea lions and bald eagles from the deck. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops and to the Yachats Ocean Road State Park for a beautiful sunset!

Great location and comfortable place to stay

The property is right along the ocean with views from the living room and outside deck. Host was responsive and the place was clean. Easily walkable to the town and coast.

The highlight here is the location, overlooking the Yachats River flowing in the Pacific, and minutes from Cape Perpetua, Thors Well, etc. It's got the most beautiful view I've ever had on vacation. And a lovely beach to play on to boot. But I would be remiss if I didn't mention the charming accomodations. A cozy and comfortable fit for my family of four, with all the amenities you need. The neighbors are welcoming and the town is so charming. We will be back ASAP!

Very nice little house. Wonderful views. Great location. Able to walk into town easily. Central location easy to get to Florence or Newport.

The view from the front windows and deck of this property were nothing short of spectacular! We loved getting up in the morning and watching the waves lap on the shore. The amenities of the house were fine. It was rustic. The kitchen is nice and redone with new appliances. The oven did smell like fish had previously been cooked in it when we used it and the bedrooms were basic and a bit cramped, especially in the bedroom with the washer and dryer in it. But, overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy cottage with everything you need! And the neighbor & their dogs are AWESOME !!! We enjoyed our stay and will stay again!

This house was comfortable and cute. Had all the amenities you could want. The view of the beach was spectacular!

Upon arrival to this quaint house we were happy to be able to park right in the property. Easy access into the house and we were greeted with a clean, nice smelling home. The kitchen was upgraded and information about the rules and property were easy to find. Rooms were lovely. The view was so stunning it took our breath away. What a beautiful home. It created amazing memories!!

This is our 4th or 5th time staying here and the location never disappoints. Whether the sky is blue and ocean is calm or there is a huge storm, the view is always incredible! And they've updated the kitchen to add a dishwasher, making this place perfect!

I was happy to be in this wonderfully located cottage again. Since my last stay the kitchen , which is cozy, has had a nice upgrade. The view of the river inlet and ocean can be mesmerizing. Thanks for a lovely retreat.

This property provided us a perfect, relaxing weekend. Very clean and well-appointed house. Perfect location for restaurants, shops and trails. Highly recommend the Drift-Inn for dinner and breakfast. The house location is just a short walk from the 804 trail. Very cool watching the waves and tidal changes at the mouth of the Yachats River.

The house was clean and comfortable with an excellent (almost hypnotizing) view! We enjoyed watching the tide and sunsets! Great walkable location.

Perfect location for bird watching

The Yachats River and Bay are just across the street from your view, great wave action.Many good food options along with grocery store within 3 blocks.

We loved location and house, which was clean and well equipped. The only problem was that we were notified by voicemail that the washer/dryer didn’t work. (Quite a disappointment at a beach location!). No apology, no effort to offset inconvenience with discount or other laundry access. They didn’t make the unit break, but they certainly could have handled it with more consideration.

Location was fantastic and the the house was very clean. Appliances were a bit dated.

We really enjoyed this beautiful little town! The home sits right on the water as pictured! Just a short walk down the street is the Yachats park that you can check out starfish and other beautiful creatures at low tide. Walking distance to restaurants and stores! Loved our stay!

Stunning views from the front deck and the home was stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. We’ll be back!
