Stayed Feb 5, 2026The house was just perfect for a party of one. It was clean, no problem in getting in and the awesome wood stove. Sitting and listening to the rain and be warned by the fire. I’ll definitely be renting this place again.

Stayed Jan 22, 2026Really enjoyed the place, was a good setup for a cozy weekend at the beach. They really went above and beyond to provide a little doggie box with a bowl, towels & blankets Kitchen was fine to cook in, super appreciated all the spices available to cook a little meal. Only real complaint is the lighting setup is a little strange and the sink for the kitchen is extremely small. Also would be nice if they had any bit of hand soap in their little soap packaging provided.

Stayed Jan 6, 2026The cottage is in an incredible setting and has many great features. The privacy and architecture, including skylights, exposed beams, and the front deck, are truly special. The kitchen is well stocked, the gas fireplace is cozy, and the little library adds a lot of charm. It’s easy to see why guests love this place. That said, the inside of the cottage felt worn and dirty. The floors needed a thorough cleaning (our dog ate a random gummy left under the nightstand, which could have ended badly). The laminate near the kitchen sink is coming apart. The towels were super rough and abrasive from heavy use. One of the worst parts was the jean duvet and pillowcases on the bed. That should be illegal with how scratchy it was. It was also very stained (see photos). Luckily, we found better pillowcases in the closet and removed the duvet cover. The pillows completely flatten once you lie on them. The couch itself was comfortable, but had a noticeable odor along the headrest and made a loud screetch every time you got up or down. The couch pillows were also very rough, worn, and dirty. The washing machine in the bedroom had black mold inside, and the smell was strong enough that we had to keep the washing machine door closed at all times to contain the odor. With better management and some TLC, this place could be MAGICAL. There’s a lot to love here, but the lack of cleanliness left us feeling pretty uncomfortable during our stay.

Stayed Feb 9, 2025The place is adorable and quaint with lots of little interesting details throughout! Lots of books to read, puzzles, DVD’s and a Roku TV. The beach is right down the street and is absolutely beautiful. My partner and I loved the coffee maker and the ability to cook dinners in the small kitchen. Would definitely come back!

Stayed Oct 25, 2024We absolutely fell in love with the cabin. They have everything you could ever want. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking/bakeware, the shelves are full of nautical/foraging/PNW themed books, and there's a great selection of board games. The cabin is in the perfect peaceful area, just a short walk to the beach and the town. We are definitely coming back during our next trip to the coast

Stayed Sep 4, 2024We loved staying at this little cottage tucked off Highway 101 in Yachats. A long tree-lined driveway ends with a clearing and cottage complete with beautiful perennial gardens and a relaxing porch. The cottage was very clean and cozy, with pride of ownership throughout. While we didn’t do much cooking, the kitchen was well-stocked with high end kitchenware. We have been to Yachats a number of times and it never disappoints. The ocean vistas, forest trails, and quaint town draw us back each time. We were able to walk into town from the cottage. We had a little trouble finding the little driveway off 101, wish there was better signage or more detailed arrival instructions.

Stayed May 22, 2024The instructions for accessing the rental were very easy. The location was excellent, although it was up on the hill surrounded by beautiful trees/forest and not with the typical ocean view home we generally rent. Excellent customer service - We initially thought the heating system in the bedroom could not be turned off. I reached out to my contact and got an immediate response. Fairly dark at night outside the cottage...porch light isn't too bright. So, suggest bringing a flashlight if you'll need to give your dog a last walk at night.
