The Tubac Alegria Retreat

The the house and scenery were beautiful highly recommend staying there. Alex was a great host.

My family and I stayed here for a nearby larger family reunion and had a great experience. There was an issue the day we arrived that involved a plumbing emergency which meant we were without water at the property for the first day, but the host communicated about it immediately and was very flexible, offering to adjust our booking if we wanted to stay somewhere else. The issue was fixed quickly and once the water was back on, we had such a great stay and felt very relaxed and comfortable staying here. The host was so kind and easy to communicate with, thank you for a wonderful stay!

The property was quiet, clean and had incredible views. Exactly as the listing shows. The pool, spa and sauna are incredible, even has a private outdoor shower. The house had everything we needed and more. The owner was fantastic, from pre booking assistance, clear & concise information about the location, amenities and fast responses. They asked for feedback about our stay, what they could do better and graciously received our inputs. This one goes on our list of future return visits. Thank you!

We had a family wedding in Tubac and this was the absolute perfect place for us to stay It is only five minutes from the resort which was so convenient. Alex was an awesome host and everything was exactly as described. The check-in and checkout process was so very easy and everyone really enjoyed everything about the house and especially the view. One thing about this property is that everything actually works! I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area And also would like to thank Alex again for their hospitality.

I don’t write lots of reviews but I’ll make an exception for this place. I’ve been visiting Tubac for over 15 years & I’ve stayed at the golf resort & in the barrio but this was a different experience. The location on the west side of Tubac was perfect and totally private. It was completely tucked away from everything but less than 5 minutes from all the galleries & restaurants. It was also pretty neat to be tucked away but also be able to see the whole town from the property - this was a view of Tubac I hadn’t seen before. The views of all the mountains were incredible as well. It was colder when I stayed so the hot tub & sauna were perfect. The master suite also has a fireplace that clicks on - perfect after the jacuzzi. This place is like renting your own private resort, I haven't been to another rental quite like it. The master suite is also totally separate from the main house but has its own kitchen and living room. You could have another couple stay and each could have total privacy. I plan to be back in the summer with some friends to use the pool & grill. The hosts also made sure everything went smoothly. Thanks again.
