Private home In Barrio De Tubac

After arriving and getting settled I noticed the carpeting in master bedroom had not been vacuumed. I then pulled down the bedding only to find dirty sheets with lots of hair. I messaged the host and asked that they call me. They promptly called and I informed them of the condition of the master bedroom. The only acceptable solution for us was to leave the property and find alternate lodging. It was disgusting to see the bed sheets with so much hair. I have pictures. I do not support the argument that says the host should have an 'opportunity to make it right'. As far as I'm concerned, hosts have one chance to make it right. Not two. The host was agreeable and offered a refund. But the refund does not make this situation right. Due to most places being booked our alternate lodging ending up costing considerably more, and it took a few hours out of our day. Hosts need to be held accountable for the condition of their properties, and not make excuses. This was the last straw and I doubt we'll rent Vrbo or similar short term rental again. Two stars and not one, because the host issued a refund.

Host was great.

Great location with easy access to village and restaurants, walking path and highway. Very comfortable with plenty of space and sufficient supplies in the kitchen. Both of us were able to easily work from here. We also loved the outdoor seating area and the friendly neighbors. Thank you for letting us stay with our docile 9 yr old dog. It is highly probable that we will visit here again!

This was our fourth year to stay here for a couple’s golf trip. Perfect for two couples with plenty of extras. The resident cardinal kept us company in the back yard.

Property better than advertised in several ways. Extremely clean, well maintained and completely outfitted with all necessities, with the added bonus of individual bathrobes, a nice touch. Very much enjoyed the patio as we grilled one evening, making for a wonderful and enjoyable night of moon and stars. Highly recommend, particularly if the guys like to golf, and the ladies like to spa as the Tubac Golf Resort and Spais just a short distance away. And Tubac proper is a gold mine for shoppers if you're interested in the various artwork and jewelry.

Spacious home with well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. Loved mornings on the back patio watching birds. About a 15-20 min walk to the shops of Tubac.

I stayed at Carol's place over the winter months. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The home was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The large kitchen was wonderful for making homemade meals. Carol was very responsive. Wonderful experience.

Everything was as advertised. The only issue we had was with the remote controls. Finally figured out the batteries were dead.

Carol’s home was absolutely perfect for our stay in Tubac. It was well furnished, immaculate, and the best stocked kitchen of any vacation rental we’ve ever seen! Our plans evolved over our stay, and Carol was very accommodating and understanding of our needs. We would enthusiastically recommend Carol and her place to anyone visiting Tubac!
