Stayed Jun 29, 2025Lovely historical house. Fantastic location. Sunny backyard. Well equipped for all needs. Plenty of wood to stay warm. You can do a lot of site seeing of stay local and enjoy all Mudgee has to offer. Walking distance to great pubs, cafes & restaurants.

Stayed May 30, 2025This beautiful house is amazing and in the best position! The Tannery is a short 5 minute walk into town and the park. The house has so much character and every convenience you could ask for. A short drive to wineries, pubs and great restaurants. We will be back. Thanks Jahn. P

Stayed Mar 2, 2025We really enjoyed our stay at the Tannery. Darren is a wonderful host. The information that he provides on the town and the surrounding areas was fantastic. The house is lovely & the yard is great. It was extremely hot when we were there & it was hard to sleep without aircon. But we had a great time & look forward to staying there again.

Stayed Mar 30, 2024The Tannery is old world charm and is a home away from home. It boasts a well appointed kitchen with great cooking utensils, condiments and of course coffee. It is walking distance to the main centre of town so you can leave the car behind. I will definitely be back.

Stayed Oct 4, 2023What a treat to stay in such a cute and historic home- thanks Darren for all the extras, especially the recommendations for food, wineries etc. We loved having a long lunch in the backyard with produce gathered from the Mudgee food scene. The house was cosy with the snap cold front, and the bed super comfy. A perfect place to end our cycle trip through the region.

Stayed Jun 25, 2023The Tannery was a great place to stay for our short break, comfortable and cosy with a great deal of character and well located close to town. It’s beautifully appointed with a super comfy bed and good linen and a great kitchen for cooking. Too cold to enjoy the garden but for warmer days it would be lovely to sit out there and relax.
