The Taiga House - inspiring mountain views at the edge of Denali National Park

From the moment we arrived, we felt immediately welcome and were greeted by our host and their adorable dogs! Our first morning did not disappoint as we spotted a moose moving through the back woods. The next day we saw a mama moose and her twins! We enjoyed visiting Denali park and had perfect weather. Finally, we did the hike out the back of the house and saw yet another moose and baby. The house was very comfortable for the six of us and one bathroom did not pose any problems. We would highly recommend Taiga House to anyone staying in Healy or nearby!

We had a great long weekend at the Taiga House! Would definitely recommend for a family.

The place was clean, modern, well equipped and best of all, the view from the great room was beautiful! It is about 15 minutes from Denali National Park. The host was friendly and knows a lot about the area. It can be a little challenging to find the first time, but it’s only a couple minutes from the main road in Healy which has a couple restaurants,

I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Taiga House! We saw moose, had incredible mountain views and a clean and modern place to stay. Certainly will recommend to friends and family!

The host was very nice and responsive. The view from the home was incredible - plus there was the bonus of a moose walking through the yard. The home is only about 20 minutes to Denali National Park. There were plenty of towels and kitchen supplies available and it was convenient to the local grocery store and gas station.

Our stay at The Taiga House was amazing. We were greeted by Todd on arrival. His kindness and enthusiasm was infectious. Our kids said he was the coolest person and it really made our stay special. The view from the house makes you feel like you’re living in a painting. It was so cool. The Taiga House was perfect for our family of 6. Todd and Julie made us feel like we were family visiting for a few days. We have stayed at many properties and The Taiga house was the most special place we have stayed at. Mahalo, Todd and Julie!

Since the place is on the second level you get an amazing view. We left Denali early one day due to SNOW on May 31 and picked up dinner and just sat at the table for hours talking and enjoying the view. The host are great and the place was perfect for us!

The home is very well laid out, spacious, clean and the hosts were responsive. The views are nice, the parking is convenient and we had a great stay. The laundry was easy and ready to go. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked quite a bit. The coffee they provided was great. We saw moose from the windows and the beds are quite comfortable.

We were very comfortable, the location was great, close to town but away from the hustle and bustle. The wildlife was fun to watch. We have no complaints and would recommend to anyone. Would not recommend to anyone who has issues with stairs. Thank you Todd and Julie for a fabulous 3 days!

Location is great for possible wildlife viewing. House was quiet and has great views of the mountains. Very close to Denali and places for gas, groceries, and restaurants. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful sceney and very comfortable place to stay, only a short drive to Denali entrance and 49th st brewery. We saw a moose and her baby by the road to the house. We loved every minute of our stay.

We had a great stay at The Taiga House. Location was great, on the edge of Healy which gave us great proximity to Denali NP, but also a bit away from the crowds. We loved looking out the windows to the forest in the backyard. Property was very clean and nice. Well stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were great, with helpful directions and good information. We had a leaky shower head the first night we were there and they fixed it quickly and seamlessly for us. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area!

The Taiga House is FABULOUS! We loved every moment. Kitchen facilities are OUTSTANDING! The appliances are top-of-the line. The house is immaculate. Lighting, heating, cleanliness, organization of linens and kitchen equipment made our stay extremely comfortable and easy. To top it off, the sunset views from the second floor were unbelievable! I will definitely return.

All was so easy. No issues to complain about. I had an incident due to my own clumsiness and Todd was so gracious about it. I would recommend them highly.

Very convenient for a visit to DNP. There was a grocery store nearby, and 49th state brewery was an excellent restaurant nearby. House had everything we needed!

Lovely place with a beautiful view and outdoors area. Everything as described. Made this our base camp for visiting Denali and it was perfect for that. Food and groceries nearby. Enjoyed using the grill outside and the washer/dryer. Thank you

Wonderful spot for a family. Pictures don't do the home or the view justice. Truly wonderful. Extremely well equipped kitchen with high quality appliances and accessories, and many thoughtful touches throughout thr home. Nearby Three Bears grocery store very easy to get to and prices were really reasonable. Quick hop to the Denali park road. Wonderful hosts, super cute and friendly dogs on property. Would 1000% return.

Wonderful, comfortable and clean accommodations in Healy, minutes from Denali Park. Todd, Julie and the dogs were gracious hosts. Very enjoyable and great spot to experience the best of Denali Natl Park. Hiked Mount Healy overlook, Triple Lakes, Savage River Alpine, and Horseshoe Lake. Saw Bears, Caribou, Dall Sheep, and Moose.

Great property and location! Comfortable and roomy for our party of 6. We loved sitting outside and soaking in the scenery. Close to all we wanted to do and close to good food option (Totem in and 49th state Brewery) Highly highly recommend. PS - visits from the goodest dogs were a bonus
