The Sunset Ranch

Beautiful, charming, clean and very comfortable. Quiet area and relaxing. We were towing a boat behind a suv, was very tight to turn around but doable. We'll be back next month on the way back.

One of the best places we’ve stayed! So many cute little touches. Loved the chickens and can’t wait to try the eggs (available for purchase as well as fresh meat)! We enjoyed the decor and felt very cozy after a long day of driving. Beautiful property! The weather didn’t work out to see the gorgeous surrounding landscapes this time but I guess we’ll have to come back! Would definitely stay again. The owner was very thoughtful and communicative throughout the whole process. I am confident had we needed anything they would have done their best to accommodate. Thanks again for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful stay! Perfect for an overnight or a couple of days! The owner has thier own ranch and you purchase meat or eggs from them! They are so kind and great at communicating. The property itself is very beautiful and fun! A little cold during the winter but they have a space heater and a propane heater that heats up the house in minutes! :) we loved it there will be back!!

This is a perfect little place, spotlessly clean and with a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed, and the shower has excellent water pressure. There’s a lovely view from the front windows. I’ll be back soon.

Melody's farmhouse is very cute and cozy and it had everything I needed for my solo trip to Oregon. It was a little over half an hour drive from Crater lake national park. I loved hearing the chickens clucking in the morning and the beautiful sunset from up the hill. Melody was extremely professional in communicating and my stay went smoothly. Thank you Melody for a wonderful stay :)

Check in was easy. Kitchen well stocked. We were even able to purchase delicious fresh eggs. The home was clean, quiet and comfortable. We loved listening to the crickets at night, and the chickens, roosters and turkeys in the morning.

Wonderful place to stay. Host was very accommodating. And if you like chickens, you’ll have more eggs than you can eat!

What an amazingly peaceful and wonderful place to stay. I stayed alone and felt totally safe and secure in the tranquil home. I feed the hens some scratch snacks the host left. There are fresh eggs in the frig and frozen organic beed in the freezer you can purchase if you don't have time or want to go to the store. I would recommend this host to anyone.

An exceptional cottage-comfortable, beautifully decorated, well-stocked, perfect location.

My wife and I spent a week touring around Oregon. This was our favorite accommodation. Loved the farm, and it was so peaceful. The rental was spotless and perfect. While we enjoyed our activities around Crater Lake and Klamath Falls, the peaceful sunsets sitting on the hillside right outside our front door was definitely one of our highlights.

I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door. Not only is it cute as a button, everything was sparkling, clean, up-to-date, and very comfortable. It took little effort to entertain myself, being a birder surrounded by a lovely habitat for many species. I hope to rest there again on my next driving trip to Oregon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd restful and quiet stay at the Sunset Ranch. We hope to make it a regular stop on journeys to and from San Francisco and eastern Washington.

Calm, quiet, warm, and inviting, the Sunset Ranch exceeded all our expectations. The bed is superb, the decor is fun, the kitchen has everything needed to cook a nice meal after a day of driving or exploring the area. Melody is a gracious and responsive host. Our only regret was that we arrived to late see one of the spectacular sunsets. We’ve already booked another stay for our return trip north.

Beautifully country but close to town. Exactly as described but better than the pictures - as everything was so thoughtfully presented.

Everything was very clean with toiletries and appliance locations well marked with lots of extra amenities available. Good communication with host. Lots of options for staying warm during the chilly January mornings.

This is one of our favorite vrbo's so far. It is roomy and comfortable, clean and modern. It is well stocked and has some nice freebies. The furniture is comfortable; the towels are nice. We would stay there again.
