Beautiful home and great location. Perfect for our family.

Great house in great location! Loved the carport area under the house. It has a picnic table, comfy chairs, outdoor shower, beach toys, and a spray for your shoes/feet before heading up the stairs. Kitchen was stocked well and the living room furniture was comfortable. Thankful for a washer/dryer.

Loved the carport area under the house with the outdoor shower, spray for shoes/feet, and the chairs. House was in a great local location to go to Holden Beach and the local restaurants/stores. House was very clean and had everything needed in the kitchen plus a grill outdoors. The only drawbacks are there is no dishwasher, the water has a sulfur smell, the bunk bed really squeaks when a person moves, and we had trouble with the lock. Otherwise, we had a great time and would stay there again.

This was the perfect spot for my family to stay for a last minute getaway. The home was so nice and new, we really loved the outdoor space as well!

Place needs a deep cleaning and several repairs. The dishwasher marginally worked after we cleaned the filter and drain area (disgustingly filthy). Hot water was spotty at best and overall water pressure was weak. Pool needed cleaning. Grass was not cut. Overall cleanliness was poor. Location was good. Needs TLC in many areas. Garage was nice item but it was trashed inside.

I have rented a house in Holden Beach and Myrtle Beach during the last 2 decades using local rental agencies. This was the first time I had to use Vacasa and the very first time the house was not ready for use upon arrival. The beds were not made, the rooms were not clean, and the kitchen had unusable pots and pans.

We booked this house for our 5th anniversary trip and we absolutely LOVED staying here! It was nestled away from the road, but a very short drive over to Holden. The house was so great! The balcony and the underneath patio were so nice to have to sit out on! The bed in the main bedroom so super soft and cozy! The couches were so comfy to relax in and the kitchen was a dream! A big plus that the tv’s were roku and we were able to catch up on our show at night! It’s also very conveniently located near a food lion and a few restaurants. We will definitely will consider staying here again!

Cute older beach house that is first row, direct beach access, and spacious. Layout worked well for us and the owners stopped by (after calling) and were extremely nice...even helped us get the pool heated after going back and forth with Vacasa about it. (just FYI, it's not explicit in the listing but you must pay for pool heating for the entire stay and they can turn it on from their end very easily).

Great house and set up, fully stocked and great location to the beach.

First of all there was a glitch with reserving the pool and management spoke to me online and on the phone and we solved it amicably. Hey, mistakes happen but it's how they are handled that makes or breaks things for us and it couldn't have been handled better. And for the record, my family really enjoyed the pool.Back to the stay. It was perfect. We were looking for a place to relax with our teenagers before the oldest heads to college in the fall. Teenage boys need their own space, Mommas need their boys nearby and Dads need a bit of both. This property was perfect. The fact that it was all on one floor meant the boys could each have their own space but not disappear. The kitchen was open so all 4 of us took turns making the big meal of the day but we were all around and available to help. The wall of windows looking out to the poarch and ocean was magnificent. We spent a good bit of time sitting out there with a cozy blanket and warm coffee's. One of the very best things was the walkway to the beach. Some houses we've stayed in have been beachfront but still quite a distance from the actual beach. Not this property. The walk to the beach was short and sweet, you didn't feel like you were committing to a hike just to go stand on the beach and gaze out to sea for a few minutes. Being near the ocean is our families happy place--this property only enhanced that. We will be back.

We loved that this house was beach front and had a pool for little kids to play in when the ocean got too tough.

Decided last minute to book a quick beach getaway! What a lovely neighborhood, with friendly locals! Just a short 2 miles away from the public beach access. Close to many local eateries, grocery store and pharmacy! Will definitely book another stay at this location!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed The Summer House for our family vacation this year. House was well laid out with comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms, great common areas and covered deck. Beach was amazing with plenty of space to ourselves. Private pool was a hit, especially with the kids. Nothing like being steps from the beach! Highly recommend this rental!

Very clean...well equipped for our stay

Been coming here for several years now, and it's great every time. We come for the beach, but the pool is a great addition that was enjoyed by all. Location and beach access is excellent. We also find the beach crowd very light in this area, which is nice.
