The “Sugar House”: A Cook's Paradise

Jane was wonderful from start to finish.The place was awesome and the kitchen was fantastic!

The check in/out process and communication with the host was super easy. Property was spotless and equipped very nicely. Location is super convenient to anything you might need. We were visiting our son in SLC so this place was perfect. Easy trip to the ski areas in the Cottonwood Canyons as well as being close to cafes and shops in Sugar House. Bed and couches were extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back to stay here! Thank you Jane!!

PROs: great location in sugar house. Fantastically large kitchen. A frig and freezer bigger than at home. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful house.CONs: no kitchen table (a bar to sit at). someone lives in the basement with a barking dog (separate entrance. No back yard. You have to park on the street. Driveway is for the people in the basement.

Everything was great. I could not believe the kitchen. We love to cook and this place had everything we needed and more. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Perfect location, spotless home, super cozy and felt like home. We loved our stay and will be back next time we’re in SLC.

Stayed here for my son's U of U graduation with my mom. Place was very clean. Kitchen is AMAZING. Wanted to take to stove home with me! Lot of restaurants in the area. Highly recommend The Dodo. Located across for high school. A bit busy but not overly so. Great park behind the school.

Beautiful property. Unfortunately, we were not told about someone living in the basement and that the back yard was unavailable to use. I was told to park in the street even though there was a driveway….which the person who lived in the basement park (we found this out after the fact of checking in). If I was told that there was someone living downstairs, and the reason for no usage of the back yard and driveway, it would have been a nice experience. I would not recommend this place due to the undisclosed issues at the time of the booking. We were asked to leave the rental after one night since we parked in the driveway and we offered to move the vehicles so the person in the basement could park there. Getting kicked out on Thanksgiving and not getting any refund at all is very disappointing. I will not book through VRBO again.
