Stayed Sep 4, 2025Home was quaint. Mattresses were comfortable. Bedding sheets, blankets and pillows were well loved. The washer and dryer were a nice plus. A few other minor things but that's with every rental. The owner was very nice.... we met him at check out.

Stayed Jul 18, 2025Pros: Check in was real easy, key was left for us. The kitchen had many dishes, pots, pans, utensils. Lots of hot water. Big porch to sit on. Beds were very comfortable. There are horses on the adjoining property that were pretty to look at.Cons: Steps onto the porch are made of stone and are uneven. There is no sidewalk from the parking area to the porch so you have to walk through the wet grass.

Stayed Jul 6, 2025Great house, clean, welcoming stay. Enjoyed the large yard and wrap around porch. Host was welcoming and very nice. Everything was provided. Close to ACE Adventure whitewater rafting, the New River Gorge Bridge. Hot tub is large and gets hot quick. Nice outdoor firepit.

Stayed Sep 27, 2024The Stone House has been nicely updated with the right features to make six of us very happy. A great base to raft the Lower Gauley from! Plenty of bedding, nice kitchen, dining room was perfect for us to reflect back on our daily adventures. Host was friendly and were true to their word. We will be back!

Stayed Jul 11, 2024The house worked for us; 2 couples and an infant and close to the hiking we wanted to check out. No major issues - the hot tub has been well used and wasn’t too inviting, but it could also have been that it was 100 degrees outside! Thanks Jen! Our stay was good.

Stayed Jun 1, 2024This house was very charming and we had plenty of towels. Beds comfortable but shower areas were not clean. The upstairs was also dusty. In a great location and a wonderful stay the house just needed a little TLC. Tank you for letting us stay with you.

Very clean and everything you need is available / well organized. Currently 25 horses to watch in the adjacent fields. Highly recommend this property.
