Welcome to The Stardust Cottage! Our thoughtfully designed home boasts an updated interior and backyard space, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or hanging out with friends and family. Relax in style and comfort while soaking in the vibrant energy of the uniquely captivating `Stardust Cottage.`

Let our place be your hub for exploring the Klamath Basin! Located within a 5 minute drive to Sky Lakes Medical Center, OIT and the historic downtown Klamath Falls scene!

This is a compact 2 bedroom one bath older home that has been nearly completely renovated! The bedrooms are small and quaint, which is why there are full size beds; to maximize space!

Guests will have full access to the home, including the long driveway and outdoor patio space.

There is plenty of space to park your boat`s, RV`s or big trucks.

The home is located in a residential neighborhood within close proximity to the train track.

Trains traveling along the Portland Street Crossing are no longer required to sound their horns except when safety requires it. This means train noise will not be as evident (Particularly honking of the horns. ) You may still hear the train going by on the tracks, but with the new Quiet Zone, this should reduce train noise significantly! We will continue to provide white noise machines and ear plugs in the home to help mitigate and reduce the sound of the trains for light sleepers.

However, this can make it fun to sit on the front porch and watch the train go by with the kids!

The Stardust Cottage is a 5 minute drive to downtown Klamath Falls, Sky Lakes and OIT or 15 minute walk. There is not much to do within walking distance, but plenty within driving.

The homes on the street are eclectic with some neighbors taking great care of their yards, and others not so much. This is generally the flavor throughout Klamath Falls. You may see or hear street traffic, especially since the local high school is right down the street.

10- 15 minute walk downtown( Farmers market, night life, shopping and restaurants.)

5 minute drive to plenty of hiking trails at Moore Park.

46 minute drive to Crater Lake National Park (Please note, shuttle transportation is limited and seasonal)

51 minute drive to Lava Bed National Monument

5 minute drive/25 minute walk to the AMTRACK station

5 minute drive to OIT and Sky Lakes Medical Center

- You can adjust and tilt the T.V in any direction!

-Note, there is not a dishwasher or garbage disposal on site.

- The home is located next to a train track and noise will be evident. Please read the `About the neighborhood` section for more information.

-There are no ceiling fans in the rooms.

-We insure the property against accidental damage with the Safely Protection Policy. The cost of this protection is $25 per reservation and will be included in your rental rate. This fee provides coverage for minor accidental damages during your stay, giving you peace of mind and saving you the hassle of a large upfront hold, or a tedious refund process. It’s our way of making your stay stress-free while ensuring our homes are well cared for.
This is a residential neighborhood. Quiet hours are 10:00 P.M-7:00 A.M daily. Please be respectful of our neighbors. No parties!

Please do not flush towelettes, wipes, or sanitary napkins down the toilet as this is an older home.

Booking guest must be present for duration of the stay. Guests are not allowed to book on behalf of another party, unless it`s on behalf of an approved company. Extra guests not listed in the booking need to be approved by host before entering the home. Overnight visitors can be coordinated for an extra fee.

-The trash bins are located outside to the right of the house, along the driveway. There is a recycling bin (black lid) and trash bin (Green lid.) Trash is picked up every Tuesday.
-For safety and insurance purposes, charging electric vehicles (EVs) on the property is strictly prohibited. This includes the use of standard household outlets or extension cords. Guests are encouraged to use designated public EV charging stations nearby. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Great home in a great location close to Crater Lake. We were able to cook meals with plenty of pots and pans. Room to spread out and relax. Klamath Falls has lots of breweries with lots of great food. We loved Common Block. Will stay here again if we are back in the area!

    This house is super stylish and filled with all the basics you'd need for your stay. It's a quick 15 minute walk to Downtown and an easy drive to nearby nature attractions. The provides some great recommendations for nearby food and fun, which was appreciated for this out-of-towner.I was in town for work, so this place really ticked all the boxes I'd need for a four-day stay in town.The only thing that might bug some, which is clearly noted in the listing, is the nearby train tracks. They did wake me sometimes in my early sleeping hours, but didn't impact my overall rest.I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good base to call home while in the area!
