Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our Review We enjoyed our stay at La Souchere very much indeed, and would highly recommend it. The house is very roomy and all the bedrooms are of a good size and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and opens onto a lovely patio which is a sun trap. The sitting room is very large and has an excellent dining table and area. This room also benefits from a very large flat screen TV, with excellent satellite and internet access. Several nights were enjoyed watching DVD’s on this high quality television. The sitting room also benefits from a large wood burning fire, and free fire wood is accessed internally to the floor below. In the evenings when the fire was lit it created a lovely atmosphere. The garden is very large, sunny and is totally secure, being safe for children and pets. The house position is very private and has a wonderful location in a small hamlet with three other houses. We found lovely walks through the surrounding woods. La Souchere is well located with several excellent restaurants within a short walk or drive, and a good supermarket about 10 mins drive away. The whole region has so much to offer and we discovered so many lovely villages and small towns. The area is truly spectacular and the house great value. We will return. George & Katy (Scotland)
