The Sea Captain's House & Loft - Coast Beach Luxury

Beautiful home and absolutely spotless! Had so many great amenities and just a short walk to the beach. Wonderful stay and would stay again!

Excellent stay at this beautiful home. Great location in walking distance to many hot spots in Santa Barbara. Hosts have kept the house in perfect condition with no needs left unmet. Would love to return some day.

No TV in the house in the den/dining area, so there was no way for the 5 of us to watch games, etc. Coffee pot in the Loft does not reach the release button on the brewer, so the release has to be opened with a spoon or by holding the pot up to the release. The heating unit in the Loft makes a loud banging sound every 1-2 hours, which is a sleep disruption. Hot tub needs to be cleaned. TV's are not user friendly. Would not rent this property again, especially at the price we paid. This was our first VRBO experience and not what we hoped for or expected.

We did not have access to the hot tub or the exercise room until the afternoon of day 2- both were locked. Also, the internet was very spotty- this was a major issue as one of us had to do a pre scheduled interview on our phone, and I had to negotiate a real estate contact on my phone as well.

Positives: clean upon arrival and sheets were good quality.Negatives: Property manager provided lip service, but no action, regarding a wasp issue. Older homes and many windows either did not open at all or would not stay open (broken ropes). Half-bathroom location in main house not convenient and not adequately described. Overpriced by 2k for the six nights we stayed there.

Great location with quick walk to East Beach, local markets, and restaurants. Easy check in / check out, and host communication (no issues though) was fast and convenient.

10 of us stayed here and had the most amazing time. Perfect cottage in a perfect location within walking distance to beach, grocery store, restaurants.

Five east coast women made plans for a long weekend visiting our west coast friend. The rental house was a perfect fit. The kitchen is well appointed with all the tools needed to cook breakfast and lunch and the dining table was large enough for all of us to eat together. The home's location is both perfect for long morning walks along the beach and close to downtown Santa Barbara.

Stayed here for the week of our daughter’s wedding. Everything was terrific!

Had some trouble accessing the upper half of the house and being able to communicate with the property managers on the first night. They were very apologetic and made it right in the end. Overall we had a great stay and loved the house and location.

We had a great time staying at this property. We enjoyed walking to nearby parks, the zoo, and the beach. The property was set up well for our two families, where one stayed in the loft with two adults and their three kids and the other downstairs with two adults and two kids. The kitchen was well-equipped. We all enjoyed the hot tub.

The space was beautiful and within walking distance of the venue and beach. Everyone commented on the comfortable bedrooms and well fitted kitchens. Would highly recommend this to anyone with a large group.
