This Spacious Brick Beach House (built in 1967) gives you the true New England experience, with Ocean Beach Park just steps away! The home is a split level design. Our fully furnished 5 bedroom and 3 bathroom house even allows a group of 12 relatives to live comfortably and lavishly! SLEEPS 12 IN BEDS! Maximum 12 occupancy!

Monthly/Weekly/Daily Renters, Essential Workers, Families/Vacationers, Connecticut College, Mitchell College, Coast Guard Academy, Electric Boat, Dominion Energy, Mohegan Sun & Foxwoods Casinos. Family, friend, work, team, bachelor, bachelorette, golf, etc. gatherings are all welcomed.

Beach passes ARE NOT included with booking; can be purchased at Ocean Beach Park admission booth(s). Public commercial olympic sized pool located at Ocean Beach Park (pool passes ARE NOT included w/ booking; can be purchased at park). Unfortunately dogs (pets) are not allowed inside Ocean Beach Park.

Ocean Beach Park is down the street from the home, open Memorial Day to Labor Day. It is less than a 3 minute walk, only a block away, to the patron walk-in admission booth. Walk down the driveway and take a right, follow straight down until you reach the park entrance. Guests are able to utilize Alewife Cove for water activities such as kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards (NOT included). Guests are expected to comply with the CT water safety guidelines/requirements. There is a water access area 5 blocks away where you can access the water on Parkway Drive (Waterford, CT). It is a very short walk across the bridge (to the right) that brings you to the water access area. Besides water activities, the immediate area is a great place for walking, jogging, or bike riding.

    Liked the area but it has changed alot over the years. The house was a nice size for all 11 of us. The house was comfortable. Well stocked. Rooms were a good size. The bathrooms need some updates but clean. But overall we all had a great time. Would rent again

    The house was located in an ok neighborhood. There’s no water views nor is it near water. It’s nice enough inside, but the house smells extremely moldy. Especially the downstairs bedrooms. The bedding even smelled moldy. We woke up early and left as soon as we could. Two of us were coughing all night from the smell. The downstairs toilet didn’t flush, but it ran all night and kept making flushing noises every couple of minutes ALL night long and kept us awake. The downstairs bathroom looked dirty, old, and smelled like mold too. Really regret choosing this house.

    Mother recently moved back to NY. We enjoyed her 74th birthday with grands and great grands.. They had her on the beach in the pool and mostly enjoying the location of the house. Wonderful place and great location.

    It's a beautiful property with plenty of room for a large family. It's a block away from a beautiful beach with a nice little boardwalk. It is also close to many beautiful sights in Mystic, CT; Groton, CT; and even locally. If you have any questions they are quick to respond. The process of arriving and leaving the property went smoothly. They gave clear directions on everything. Would definitely recommend this property and location to those seeking a well rounded vacation.

    This was a great location, walking distance from the beach which is a big plus. The home is itself was spacious enough to host 8 adults comfortably. The home was well equipped with kitchen, cleaning tools. The house was very cool, the downstairs rooms were much colder than the upstairs rooms. We closed the vents in the downstairs rooms to even out the cold air in the house. The host was very responsive to our questions. All in all we had a great stay.

    A little over 2 weeks OK, my family and I had the pleasure of spending a few days at this property. Our stay was wonderful, we did not regret booking this property. We decided to book our stay here because we were impressed with how detailed the owner was about amenities, rules, expectations, etc.. They did not disappoint. Check-in was fairly simple. The place was clean and everything was has described or shown in pictures. The neighborhood was peaceful and quite. We really appreciated the effort that the owner and team put into preparation to make our stay comfortable and worry free. We had a wonderful time, and would recommend this property to anyone.

    A regular coffee pot would be nice and change out one electric plug in each room that has a phone charger in it. The toilet in the master needs changing out. A recliner in the living room would be useful. Loved our stay.

    I have nothing too terrible to say about this property. It was spacious enough and the sleeping accommodations were great for my group of 9 adults. However, my only comment has to do with the bathrooms. They were clean, but they were well-used and could use some updating (beyond paint). The bathrooms could each use some renovation. In the lower level bathroom, there was a lot of rust around the vent area and the shower had been painted but the paint was chipping so it gave the appearance of not being clean. I would also suggest that there needed to be more towels and washcloths Expecting a party of 9 to use only one washcloth each over the course of 4 days seems to be a little unreasonable. We had to do a load of laundry in order to have clean towels/washcloths. Otherwise, this property was great and really suited our needs quite well. Thank you!
