Stayed May 27, 2026We were looking for a quiet and inviting place for a planning retreat. This provided exactly what we needed. Time on the covered porch during a soft shower was most relaxing between sessions. The comfortable and spacious living room was perfect for conversing in the evening and the large table in the dinning room was quite efficient for our collaborative planning all day long. If it did not rain most of the day, the back porch would have been equally efficient for collaboration. Definitely would return again.

Stayed May 23, 2025We were in town for a wedding. This was a wonderful place to relax. The house is beautiful and nicely furnished. The one bathroom was not an issue even with six of us. Highly recommend for anyone staying in the area

Stayed Jul 14, 2024Such a unique and inviting place! We felt like we stepped back in time, but with all the creature comforts of modernity. Property is just as described and spotlessly clean. The front porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening deer watching. If we are in the area again this will be my first pick. Also, property owner was easy to communicate with and a great host!

Stayed May 10, 2024Stayed here for KU grad weekend. Loved the serenity of the location and the enchantment of the farmhouse. Beds were comfortable, deck was perfect to enjoy the weather and the patio was have a small celebration dinner.
