The River Retreat, Waterfront @ Sussex Inlet

Great place on the water to relax and enjoy time with the family. Our dog loved the grassed yard and morning walks to the local cafe.

I would recommend this property to almost anyone looking for a holiday rental in Sussex Inlet.The view is nice and relaxing.The location is convenient. Just a couple of minutes' drive to the Sussex shops.The only drawback is the stairs to the upstairs bedroom. Young children and the elderly might find these stairs difficult to navigate safely.

Was definitely a peicefull few days away definitely recommend the house was clean and comfortable and central to everything we will definitely be back

Lovely spot to just unwind and relax.. home is perfectly set up for a large family to enjoy.. view was beautiful. Communication with hosts were easy and informative.. little gem

What a fantastic house! It is right on the river and so relaxing watching the fish swim past and the birds. It is also close to town. The hosts were fantastic and replied to any questions very quickly. The upstairs parents retreat was also so beautiful. Fully recommend!

We had a wonderful week at this lovely property. The house was impeccably clean, well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and perfectly situated right on the river with stunning views of the opposite bush.We thoroughly enjoyed kayaking and fishing from the dock. The property manager was very responsive and polite. We encountered a minor issue during our stay, and they promptly offered to resolve it immediately. We appreciated their quick response, although we were checking out the next day.Our dogs absolutely loved the water, but the lack of a proper gate made it extremely difficult to keep them out of the river. This was particularly challenging when a pelican swam by, as they became quite excited and eager to chase it.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would recommend this property.

Great pet friendly property, Comfortable, Totally a spot to relax and unwind, Only thing if anything I would mention is the stairs leading up to the parent retreat are very narrow and would be dangerous for children or the elderly, The only thing missing was electric frying pan, everything else is provided , Beautiful big windows opening to the river view , Over all a very nice place to stay or elderly,

The stay was fanatic great with adults retreat areas so could relax and the back view was great for relaxing and kids could enjoy the outdoors. Very nice place to stay with family and friends.
