Stayed Jun 5, 2026What a beautiful house in the most perfect location! The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment (and some food for us), the beds incredibly comfortable, and numerous spaces where we could relax together, including a huge porch (with a swing!) that overlooks the Farmington River. The house has so much light that I kept going to turn off the overhead light, only to realize that it wasn’t on! Just a few blocks away, there’s an awesome deli (LaSalle’s Market and Deli) that was perfect for breakfast and for getting a few items we wanted. There’s an excellent pizza place (ABC Pizza), and the town is adorable and very accessible by foot. We loved staying here and hope to do so again in the near future!!

Stayed Aug 3, 2025This was the perfect location for my out-of-town coworkers to come and get a little taste of Northwest Connecticut. We were able to work out out of the dining room for the few days they were in town. The Wi-Fi was great, the property was very clean and very well put together and we had a great stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jun 5, 2024What a great location. The house is right across the street from the river, which has a great walking/biking path so you don't have to be on the street. There are 2-3 restaurants within a 5-minute walk as well as a small but well-stocked liquor store and some small shops. The house itself is very old but has been updated in many places, including what looks like a brand new kitchen and front porch. Overall we had a great visit and the host Carol was very easy to work with and helpful with our few questions.
