The Ridge ! New Home, Amazing View, Perfect Location! With Room For Everyone !

We’ve stayed in this house before and knew it would be perfect for a Snow Mobiling weekend with 3 other couples. What stands out about the house is that every little thing is thought of. The kitchen is fully stocked- crock pot, blender, Keurig, etc. The beds are so comfortable, the garage for the snow mobiles is soooo great, the game room is fun for everyone, the large kitchen table is appreciated for dinners and games, and the view is spectacular. We just love being there. Jd was so thoughtful to send us a map of the groomed routes each morning and it was just nice of him to send us a text to check in with us to let us know if we needed anything, he could help.

Great house and great host! Really enjoyed the place for a snowmobile get-away and Super Bowl weekend. Garage was an above-and-beyond plus! JD proactively was checking in - much appreciated! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

JD is an amazing host; right when we arrived, we noticed a problem with our trailer and JD got back to us within minutes with a recommendation of who could help fix the problem locally. The house is amazing with every amenity you could possibly want. the beds are more comfortable than any 5-star hotel that we've ever stayed at. The drive in and drive our garage is amazing after a long day on the trails you just pull in, and everything melts off and stays warm and plenty of hooks to hang your gear. The view of Lake Superior is just breath taking from almost every room in the house and all of the furnishing are first class. After a long day of sledding we relaxed in the beautiful living room and then took full advantage of the awesome game room.

This is a comfortable and very functional home with great views. Perfect for a larger group of people. We rented for Thanksgiving and to hunt. The kitchen worked well for a big dinner, we were all able to watch football, and the snowmobile garage was handy for hunting prep.

This property is one of the best we’ve stayed at! Not only is the view amazing but what a great l layout for a group. The vanity setups in the bedrooms were a brilliant idea! Many properties don’t think of those details help the flow of larger group getting ready for the day. We will definitely look for availability of this property when we are back in the area!

A group of friends enjoyed the cabin! It was very clean, plenty of space for guests and your gear. The kitchen was excellent and the furniture / mattresses were comfortable! A 10 out of 10!

Our family had an amazing vacation at this property! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The location was ideal—peaceful, with breath taking views, yet close to downtown Grand Marias, MI. JD was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making our stay smooth and stress-free. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable family retreat.

We absolutely love The Ridge! We had a fantastic time as a family. The game room was the perfect end to our day, as well as the campfire & making s'mores. The house is beautiful and spacious. The Ridge was a beautiful stay in the UP! We enjoyed the peace and quiet while spending time as a family of eight; plenty of room! We rented side by sides, hiked, shopped, and ate at some of the local establishments. So many memories made! Thank you, JD!

The cleanliness and comfort at the Ridge was top shelf! After a long day of riding we returned to a game room, a wonderful kitchen, comfortable TV areas, and a heated garage! The host responded promptly to any questions and was super organized at the house. We are looking forward to a return trip.

Third stay at this property, and we love it. JD, the property manager, is very responsive. Heated pull-through garage is awesome.Kitchen is fully stocked, just bring full bean coffee for the coffee maker - it grinds it fresh!Beds are firm, but very comfy. Internet works best, even with 8 of us using it. Lots of parking for snowmobile trailers and vehicles. Perfect location just minutes from town, and awesome views!We'll be staying a fourth time in the future.

We've been staying here for a couple years when there is snow in early December. JD has been great to work with over the years and has been very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here. Perfect for snowmobiling or any other outdoor activity you may like in northern Michigan.

We’ve stayed at this property three times and it’s beautiful, clean, accommodates big families, gorgeous view, fun amenities (game room, yard games, fire pit). Noticed cigarette butts outside but the house doesn’t smell of it. Would definitely recommend!! It’s hard to find something so nice in the Up

Cannot say enough about The Ridge. Great view, beautiful and accommodating home. Perfect location and easy access to all the tourist sites. We will definitely stay here again!

We couldn't believe how beautiful the house and setting were when we pulled up! Such an amazing view and beautiful home. Fun activities in the game room, plus table games and a huge yard. We were close to the beaches and hiking trails. Excellent experience.

With four siblings and their spouses, we converged on a beautifully appointed home in the woods! Campfires, walks, games in the large yard overlooking Lake Superior, there was so much much comfort, joy and relaxation in the house! A warm fireplace in the great room, large eating area, table big enough for all, lovely large bedrooms! The garage so big we could play cornhole! Our stay was just delightful, and we wholeheartedly recommend this home!

Very well maintained and clean property. Access to downtown in minutes, very quiet location with a great view. We especially enjoyed the North facing balcony with a view to the lake and Sunrise/Sunset colors. Well setup for every season and would recommend this residence for families and/or friends. Well appointed, cleanliness - excellent! Enjoyed morning coffee/tea with the views of Lake Superior. The evening fires with the perfect sunsets(appreciate the stocked wood for the fire pit). Details - well thought of throughout the whole property- game room, outdoor shower, grill, coffee bar, comfortable beds. 3 generation family vacation - lifelong memories made. Hope to visit again!

Incredible view and amenities..

The house and property are beautiful! Amazing sunset views with room for the kids to run. The house is fully furnished with no details overlooked. The game room provides a space for the kids to gather. Truly the best VRBO we have stayed at and it made a perfect setting for our family (of 14) vacation.
