The house was very clean and has lots of room! We were there in the town for a family wedding, so we did not use the hot tub or kitchen, but it looked great!

The house was clean, nice neighborhood, and was exactly what we needed for our weekend playing ball. Tammy was an excellent communicator as well!

Loved the layout of this home. Perfect for pets. The fenced backyard allowed the dogs to play off leash. The backyard covered patio was a nice place to start and end the day.

The host was wonderful. They emailed the day before with codes to enter and welcomed us. The place was easy to find with Waze. It was a large house, nicely decorated and plenty of room for 7 ladies. Highly recommend.

Spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Nice neighborhood. My family loved spending time around the propane fire pit under the covered patio out back. Beds were comfortable. Lots of dishes, glasses and silverware so we weren’t constantly hand-washing or running the dishwasher. Nice laundry facilities. Host was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Great location, quiet neighborhood, very comfortable for our family. Kitchen was well stocked with everything to cook, bake, make coffee in the am. Great patio to sit outside in the am with your coffee. Plenty of towels for showers, comfy beds, & the washer & dryer was a bonus.

This was a great place we used as a base to explore the areas of Gulf Shores and Mobile. There were plenty of beds and room to play for the grandkids. All of us were very comfortable in this quiet neighborhood. The grands especially enjoyed the walking paths. There were plenty of towels, bedding, and kitchen equipment. The beds were comfy, the water was hot for showers after the beach. I was pleasantly surprised by the crockpot and air fryer, both of which made cooking for our allergies much easier. The only real complaint I could have would be the water tastes awful but I don't think that's within the host's control, lol. Just maybe bring bottled water for coffee making.

Very lovely location and house.

Was a nice house with spacious rooms and a great neighborhood and driveway for our two Uhaul trailers. Overall was clean just maybe some updates to rugs and furniture that have some staining and the floor left our little ones feet rather dirty.

Overall everything was great! I think it would be helpful to have a video posted of the neighborhood as we pulled a bay boat. We were able to get to the house and had room to park, although the road was very narrow and winding through the neighborhood. House was very clean and as listed. I would recommend fixing the ceiling fans, as they were very loud, as well as the doors to the bedrooms were squeaky. The beds were also not that comfortable and squeaky as well. The accommodations worked for our quick overnight stay though. Also liked that we could have pizza delivered, because we were all too tired to go eat or pick anything up! Thank you!!

This house is very roomy, with a four seasons room and a patio that is equipped with a hot tub, fireplace and a gas grill. Everything was working very well. The rooms are spacious, having the bedrooms on opposite sides of the hallway. The location is perfect, on a quiet street, but very close to Mobile as well as Fairhope.

Star rating says it all. Tammy was a great host, the house was in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood and had all the conveniences we could have asked for, and we had a great comfortable stay.

We spent the night on our trip from Dallas, TX to St. Augustine, FL. It was a perfect place to stop with 6 of our kids. There was plenty of space, which is much needed after a long car trip. We enjoyed a family game night and were easily able to dinner as there are plenty of options nearby. The neighborhood is very quiet and felt really safe. We would definitely return.

The property was plenty big for our party of 8 adults with ample parking, seating, and sleeping. It was very clean. The owner was responsive during the booking process and with questions. The house had lots of character!

I needed a house close to Daphne's Civic Center which is where my Vowel Renewal would be held. This home is spacious and very beautiful. We really enjoyed this home. I'd recommend this place to anyone. The kids room doesnt have a TV so you may want to bring one. There is a place for it. Aldo bring a firestick for one of the other guest rooms. Other than that this home has everything youll need including games and a hottub. Thank you Tammy for being a wonderful host and assisting me whenever i needed it.

Spacious and convenient.

We needed a place to stay for 3 days until we closed our our new house in Fairhope, Alabama and The Retreat fit that bill. The house is exactly as shown on the VRBO pictures. What you can't tell is how comfortable the bedrooms actually are. The king bed in the master suite is one of the most comfortable mattresses we have ever slept on! The living, dining and kitchen spaces are well laid out and the kitchen is the most well stocked of any VRBO we have ever rented - and we've stayed at a few over the years. Our only 4 star is the backyard is tight. We had a small dog with us and there wasn't much room for her to romp; however, there is a HUGE neighborhood to walk her in so we made up for it with that. If we were ever to need a rental again we would absolutely try to book this one before looking at others. We highly recommend The Retreat if you are looking for a great location and comfortable space to stay.

The house and neighborhood were very nice! Great areas to walk dogs or to just take a walk. Felt very safe. Loved the house and would love to stay again at some point.

The house comfortable and clean. The host thought of everything. You forgot story time books no problem they have them. Can't sleep without box fan noises yep they have it. Great location and the parking the back made us feel safer. Thank you for such a great space.
