The host was a proactive communicator and provided great details on check in, things to do etc. The welcome gift was a pleasant surprise. HE checked in to see how trip was going, very thoughtful Great house and location to go to the national parks.

We reveled in the quiet and peaceful serenity of the Quail's Nest. The house was beautiful, quaint and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our family getaway. The kids enjoyed exploring the outdoors, we loved cooking in the kitchen and the easy access to Sequoia. After visiting the park, we relaxed in the house with movie and game nights, star gazing and disconnecting from our phones and laptops! We were even able take advantage of the grill and the washing machine while we were there. Mark has created a warm and welcoming environment - communication before arrival and the check in process could not have been easier. He provided tips on where to eat and shop nearby (the Pizza Factory was hit with everyone). The local folks were very friendly and we had fun exploring the the village area. As we were leaving, the kids asked if we could go ahead and book our stay for next year. I think it's safe to say they liked it here, a lot. And so did we. We would definitely come back.

This is the best VRBO I have ever stayed in. It was so clean and you can tell that a lot of thought was put into making it comfortable for guests. The views are incredible. We even had a deer stroll by in the morning. The kitchen is well equipped. A great place to stay for a visit to sequoia.

This property was the perfect place to stay! We enjoyed having a personal experience at this location to add a touch of home to our long days on the road during our trip. The place was literally spotless when we arrived with a bottle of wine ready for us to relax. We appreciate Mark checking in through email making sure our stay was comfortable. Thank you!

The Quail's Nest was a very enjoyable place to stay. A house with necessary cooking tools to have home cooked meal while on vacation. The night skies in seeing the stars and Milky Way is incredible. So quiet, peaceful, and private. Close to the entrance gate to Sequoia National Park.

The host was great with communication and provided easy check in, great local recommendations and easy house instructions. They even left us gifts. The location is beautiful and restaurants and stores are close. I would highly recommend staying at the Quails Nest.

The place is decorated well, nice new upstairs, comfy and owner makes you feel welcome & left goodies for us! Communication was great.. great location! River View Restaurant, Sequoia Coffee and Pizza Factory all 5 stars!!! If visiting Sequoia this is a great place!

We were incredibly impressed with this VRBO and honestly it was the best one we have ever stayed at! The attention to detail was amazing including welcome treats! The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. The kitchen was exceptionally stocked with anything we would need. The relaxing porch and view were highlights! Stargazing at night and watching wildlife was a bonus for our trip! Super convenient location for Sequoia!! Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Quails Nest. We hiked Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon. The Sequoia Coffee and Gateway Restaurant were great. We highly recommend this property!!

Very close to the 3 rivers shopping. Great for on the way stay to Sequoia. Comfortable and nice touches throughout. Host is very kind with lots of goodies.

Beautiful home with absolutely stunning views! The listing photos don’t even do it justice. You can see Moro Rock and the sequoia trees in the distance from the front porch. We enjoyed birdwatching and even had a bear cub sighting. The home is clean, comfortable, and had many nice touches (free laundry soap, other cleaning supplies, snacks and a bottle of wine). Close to shops, restaurants and gas in Three Rivers. The host, Mark, was very friendly and accommodating! My son got a bee sting and he sent a text to check in on how he was doing :) thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very nice property that is very close to Sequoia National Park. The owners added a lot of personal touches. The kitchen was well-appointed.

The mattresses were very comfortable, complete with crisp white linens. The kitchen was well stocked with clean white plates, cups, utensils, and a selection of condiments. The house is old and unfortunately musty smelling. Opening the windows rectified that. Updating would help achieve a higher rating. Some areas of the home were not adequately cleaned.

Had a great stay to do Sequoia and King Canyon National Parks. House was perfect for the 4 of us.

Quail's Nest is aptly named. The front porch allowed us to view many birds, coyotes, turkey, deer and lizards. Wonderful place in a peaceful setting. The only suggestion would be to ensure the house is fully stocked on things like paper towels and napkins, etc. before guests arrive. Otherwise, an awesome place to stay!
