The Porchside Perch Walk to UNA/Downtown Florence

Impeccably clean. Very roomy. Updated, large master bath with double sink, nice shower and a large closet. Stackable full sized washer/dryer just outside master bedroom. All appliances seemed new.Only two minor criticisms--We knew back yard was unfenced when we rented the property. However this made it difficult for managing our dog.Would have liked better streaming for news, for instance could access Al Jazeera but not the Fox News Channel.

The house is clean, neat, stocked with all your necessities for your stay. We enjoy front porch sitting and watching all the squirrels chase each other around the trees. Located in a great, very nice friendly and clean neighborhood. Just minutes away from coffee shops, boutiques, antique stores and the beautiful downtown area and restaurants. We plan on being back this year. A

Came to play golf in the area. Was clean, convenient and exactly what we were looking for.

The hostess got us in the same day we booked even tho vrbo wouldn't let me book that day. Communication was impeccable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My daughter felt at home and so did my son and that's a big deal when traveling with toddlers.

The host is absolutely amazing! So kind and I had completely open communication. I was able to extend my checkout time with no issues. The house was extremely clean and ready when I arrived. My family and I enjoyed this stay so much. Kid friendly with games, toys and even an arcade. We have decided this will be our yearly place from now on. Very pleased!

We enjoyed our stay at The Porchside Perch. We were pleasantly surprised to find microwave popcorn in the coffee basket. That was perfect on our first cold, rainy, night. We were also tickled by the couch and chair in the living room being power recliners. The walk in shower is larger than it appears to be in photographs. In truth, the whole en-suite primary bathroom/closet is HUGE. Our dogs appreciated the throw blankets in the living room, and were quite pleased with the smart TV so they could still watch their favorite YouTube videos while we were out touring The Rosenbaum House. If you happen to be in town on a Saturday- we enjoyed the smoked sausage and sides from Fourth Planet BBQ. Just be prepared to wait in line- as it is only open one day a week from noon until it is sold out. Mr Hui’s Peacock express had EXCELLENT Orange Chicken and salt and pepper pork ribs. (And is SUPER close by!) We look forward to staying again the next time we are in Florence.

Great option for visiting Florence. Close to campus and downtown. Clean, fully furnished, welcoming.

We stayed 18 days and they were wonderful. On short notice we were able to get in there. Amenities were excellent, very comfortable. The host was so easy to work with and accommodating. Great stay!

Beautiful like brand new house in quiet neighborhood. Easy access UNA and MacFarland Park and Shoalsfest.

The house was better than advertised. The host was very responsive and answered any questions quickly. Everything was clean and updated, it looked to have been just remodeled! We were in Florence to visit our son and daughter in law. The larger clothes basket in the master bath and K-cups in the kitchen were a nice thoughtful addition. As was the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in both baths. It was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was stocked well with cooking ware and utensils.This a very nice, restful place for a small family or a business person that prefers a house instead of a hotel room and at a better price!We would definitely stay again if available.
