Stayed Jan 16, 2026We enjoyed our stay at The Porchside Perch. We were pleasantly surprised to find microwave popcorn in the coffee basket. That was perfect on our first cold, rainy, night. We were also tickled by the couch and chair in the living room being power recliners. The walk in shower is larger than it appears to be in photographs. In truth, the whole en-suite primary bathroom/closet is HUGE. Our dogs appreciated the throw blankets in the living room, and were quite pleased with the smart TV so they could still watch their favorite YouTube videos while we were out touring The Rosenbaum House. If you happen to be in town on a Saturday- we enjoyed the smoked sausage and sides from Fourth Planet BBQ. Just be prepared to wait in line- as it is only open one day a week from noon until it is sold out. Mr Hui’s Peacock express had EXCELLENT Orange Chicken and salt and pepper pork ribs. (And is SUPER close by!) We look forward to staying again the next time we are in Florence.

Stayed Oct 29, 2025We stayed 18 days and they were wonderful. On short notice we were able to get in there. Amenities were excellent, very comfortable. The host was so easy to work with and accommodating. Great stay!

Stayed Jul 6, 2025The house was better than advertised. The host was very responsive and answered any questions quickly. Everything was clean and updated, it looked to have been just remodeled! We were in Florence to visit our son and daughter in law. The larger clothes basket in the master bath and K-cups in the kitchen were a nice thoughtful addition. As was the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in both baths. It was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was stocked well with cooking ware and utensils.This a very nice, restful place for a small family or a business person that prefers a house instead of a hotel room and at a better price!We would definitely stay again if available.
