Stayed Dec 31, 1969The property worked great for our group of 8 guys —- plenty of room for everyone. We were in Lubbock hunting sandhill cranes. The amenities such as an outdoor grill and a full kitchen worked great for us also. The owner was very responsive to our requests and had even made up a basket with all the fixings for smores — a nice special touch.

Stayed Sep 19, 2025Large house with lots of rooms. Great location. House looks a little rough on the outside, but inside is much better. No soap or shampoo in house and there are only 2 bathrooms (not 3 like the listing says). Whole house is in some disrepair. Great house for a bunch of guys to crash. Not sure ladies would enjoy it as much.

Stayed Nov 17, 2024The was not exceptionally clean and the beds were not very good. Toilet seat in downstairs bathroom was detached when we arrived. Our group ranged in age between 40 and 70 yrs old. The house was not very comfortable for us.

Stayed Sep 29, 2023Dylan was a great host and was super responsive and accommodating when we had questions! The location is great, walking distance to Texas Tech campus. Plenty of space, and the backyard was really nice! Would definitely book again!

Stayed May 11, 2023Our entire family came in town for our son's graduation. The Phat house was in a great location and was large enough to fit all of us. Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Every room had its own personality! We cooked burgers outside and enjoyed coffee on the front porch.

Stayed Oct 21, 2022This is an excellent choice for large family for a TTU football weekend. Manageable walk to stadium for small children, fenced yard for play, great grill area with fire pit for evenings, s’mores, big range of sleeping choices, full kitchen with everything you need. Manager was quickly available for any questions that might come up, plenty of parking.
