The Perfect Beach House

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful beach house! From the moment we arrived, we knew we picked the perfect place for our vacation. The decks were a dream—especially the top one, which gave us the perfect spot to watch the ocean, enjoy the breeze, and even do a little people-watching. It was the best of both worlds! The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the beach, which made it so easy to go back and forth throughout the day. We also really appreciated how close we were to great restaurants, though the house was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals too. The house itself was super comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Having air conditioning was a huge plus, especially after a day in the sun. And every evening, we made sure to catch the sunset—it was absolutely magical from the deck. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and scenic beach escape.

This is our favorite place to stay and the host is always great. We look forward to our next stay.

We love this place!! We are repeat customers

The location is great. It is the second house back from the boardwalk and you can see and hear the ocean from the balconies. You can also hear it all night if you leave the screen door open, which is dreamy, let's face it. It is also far enough down from the melee that is the bars and restaurants for the whipper snapper partier crews so that you don't have to be in that scene if you don't want to. But it's also close enough that you can join in if that's your vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The washer and dryer are great to have. The only thing worth mentioning that you might not like is there really is only one bedroom. The upstairs is one bedroom, and then a living room space with a curtain divider that has a bed. But it's totally doable. Just not super private. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this beach house for Spring Break. We loved Ocean Front Walk and the wonderful restaurants nearby. It’s the perfect place to stay in San Diego. The host made check in and out very simple.

The location provided privacy with an excellent view of the ocean. One of our best beach vacations ever! We enjoyed the locally owned restaurants that were in walking distance.

Our family had a wonderful stay! Location is perfect and parking is a huge win. Owner was amazing and fast to respond. Even sent dining suggestions. We had to work while here and internet was great even with 2 people on meetings.Only small things that could make it better would be king beds(we're tall) but the beds were very comfortable. We've been coming to MB for years and this was our best time. Would 100% stay here again!

Patio has the perfect view!!

Kate was a most gracious host in every communication. We loved the patios and being 20 steps from the boardwalk. It was a great place to walk, relax, and see beautiful ocean views and sunsets. There were several good restaurants and local coffee shops within walking distance. We were a 15 minute drive from the airport, MCRD, Balboa Park, and Old Town. We had a fabulous stay, and I'd book it again in a heartbeat!

Great communication. There are a few things that could be upgraded or replaced due to age but its a rental so it was well-appointed. I would also recommend bringing extra blankets if it is chilly. Amazing location; the balconies

This was our second stary & we plan to stay again! Beautifully appointed, comfortable house. Two spacious decks to watch the boardwalk, just one property back from the beach, great kitchen, comfy beds, just a great place to relax & let your cares melt away.

We love our annual beach trip to the Perfect Beach House! The house is always so clean and the area is perfect! They are welcoming to fur-babies! The patio is always the place to hangout, bbq, play board games and enjoy the boardwalk/ocean. The Property Manager, Katie, is always the best host, she’s friendly and promptly responds to any questions. We highly recommend this home for your next getaway!

This is our fifth summer staying at The Perfect Beach House. The location is unbeatable and it has a wonderful deck with ocean views. Property manager is always responsive and takes great care of us.

We stayed here back in 2012 with our two young children and with since larger family haven’t been able to stay. But we recently stayed with just myself, 12 year old and 16 year old and we still love it! Love that is was all one house and your one private patio and balcony which are both good sizes! The house is immaculate and has everything you need! The outdoor shower behind one of the gates has hot and cold water which is nice coming off the beach!

Such a great place! We have stayed here twice. The location is great, close to restaurants, shops, Belmont park, and of course the beach!!

We had a wonderful time at this home. The outdoor decks were wonderful and you are right on the beach. Very pretty inside. The communication with the owner/manager was so fantastic. We would stay here again.

We have stayed at this property several times before and we love it that is why we keep coming back. The beach house is perfect. There is plenty of cooking supplies. They keep the beach house maintained so you have great A/C, microwave, dishwasher and all bathrooms are in great working order. Great water pressure and the beds are comfortable. Every night I left sliding glass door open in primary bedroom to hear the ocean. We slept great!!! The porch is my absolute favorite place. I sat out every day looking at ocean and had a glass of wine with a good book. There is so much to do in San Diego that I have to keep coming back so I can see it all. I love all the places to eat too. My new favorite restaurant is called Moe’s and it’s about 900 feet from beach house. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this beach house. Best place ever!!!

Amazing home and location!

Once again I loved being at this wonderful cottage. Choose this house, you won’t be sorry.

Our second time at this glorious property. Our favorite time is every evening on the upper deck watching families hang together, dogs getting their ya ya’s out, the pelicans “surfing” the waves and the dolphins joining the surfers. Then you have the sunsets, fantastic! If you want a place to kick up your feet, slow down and smell the roses this is it. Thank you Katie! You gave our family a much needed reset. Already booked again for next year :3)!!!

Perfectly sized for our family of three! Stellar coastline views and ocean vistas. I didn't want to ever leave! Also unbelievably close to so many restaurants, bars, and groceries. A lovely walk to the Belmont section or the Pacific Beach pier. The parking spot is compact but very functional. We had a small SUV as per Budget - a Dodge Hornet - and had no trouble getting it inside the red line. House was well stocked with paper products & towels. We'd definitely stay here again!

We had 4 adults over the age of 55+. The property was clean and extremely comfortable with plenty of room. The location was perfect. We will be back!

So blessed to stay at Seagirt. Waking up to the ocean and the dolphins. The house is fantastic I would come back 100%. Please get a vanity mirror. Looking forward to our next trip 🤗

Loved our week in this wonderful house! Clean, airy, comfortable beds, roomy & relaxing. The location right off the beach can't be beat. The host was extremely easy to communicate with. We've stayed in several Mission Beach rentals - - this is the best we've experienced.
