This house has everything that you could possibly need. We just finished our stay and would definitely stay again. Everything was clean, stocked, and comfortable. Brian went above and beyond for us. He is an amazing human being. The only thing you need to pack is your clothes. The kitchen is even stocked with spices! The beach is a quick walk and there is a wagon to put all of your things in. There are two Shibumi shades which are really incredible; we had never used them before but they are really easy to put up and take down. If you are looking for an amazing place to stay, this is it!

Our family would definitely give this more than 5 stars if we could. The best rental experience we have ever had. After allowing us time to get in and settled, Brian was sure to check on us to confirm we had everything we needed. And let me tell you, there was not a single thing we needed. Linens, towels, toilet paper, hand soaps, dish soap, laundry soap, phone chargers & sound machines in EVERY.SINGLE.BEDROOM. All the kitchen appliances and dishes/cookware you could possibly need. Coolers, beach chairs, wagon & shibumis. The house is exactly how the pictures show. Comfy beds and pillows. The living room area was a very gracious size for our 2 families of 9. We never felt crowded. Sad to leave, but we will be back for sure. Thank you for hosting us!!

Brian is a fantastic host and his property is exactly as listed. Well stocked so if you forgot anything, he has it covered! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to renting from him again.

This is the second year that we stayed at the property. The house is as advertised. It is the perfect beach home away from home. Nine of us stayed this year. 10 of us stayed last year. The house is very clean, super comfortable, and easily accommodated our party. It has everything you need for your beach trip. Last year, to be on the safe side, we packed all our beach gear even though the description said all you needed to bring was your clothes. This year, that's literally what we did. Owners a great guy and super attentive. Last year, I screwed up the rating with less than five stars in one of the categories. I tried to get VRBO to take it down but they never would. It definitely deserves five stars in all the categories. Highly recommend the property.

We had a great stay at Topsail and Brian was an amazing host! The home was very clean and well-stocked with all amenities you can think of! Very comfortable beds and nice living space inside and on the outside decks! A very short walk to beach and community pool is not crowded! We’ve stayed at numerous beach rentals and this one was the best by far! One clue was me not contacting the owner or real estate company by Day 2 to request maintenance! ….Highly recommend!!!

Upon arrival the house was in wonderful condition and very clean! Brian reached out before check in time to let us know the house was ready early. There were plenty of beach supplies at the house including chairs, towels, some toys, a shibumi shade and a cart as well as an abundance of different sized coolers. Brian checked in multiple times during the week to make sure all was well. I would definitely book this house again for a future trip.

Property is as advertised. Loaded with all the essentials for a week at the beach. Just as it says in the description, we could have literally packed nothing but our clothes. Easily accomodated our party of 10. House was super clean and was in a great location to enjoy the beautiful Surf City Beach on Topsail Island. Had the privilege of meeting the owner who lives nearby. Super nice guy and very accomodating. I've stayed in a lot of rental properties at a lot of beaches over the years and this was by far my favorite.

Brian was so great to work with and very responsive to all questions we had - both before and during our stay. The home had everything we could possibly need for a week at the beach which made the packing process so much easier! The location is gorgeous with the bay behind the property and the beach in front. Our girls (teens) could have independence because the beach, pool and bay were all so close. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Brian, for a great week!

This was our family's first experience at surf city. To say home away from home was an understatement. Lovely home, decorated beautifully, everything you need was in place. You were in need of nothing. It looks just as it was on the website. The walk to the beach was very doable. Brian was available during our stay and checked with us throughout the week to see if we were enjoying our stay. Our family was so taken with our vacation experience we contacted Brian before we left to book our 2025 stay. Already looking forward to next summer. A must stay place.
