The Owl House on Broadway – Historic Home with 3 King Bedrooms and 3.5 Baths

Our stay was amazing. The place is beautiful and all the little touches such as soap and snacks were greatly appreciated. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

House is a perfect fit for 3 couples traveling together - 3 bedrooms with their own baths and king size beds with extremely comfortable mattresses. Lots of gathering space on the first floor with a large living room and dining room . Well equipped kitchen . Hosts Brian and David were quick to answer any questions and left nice treats for us to enjoy . Home has lots of historical charm And as a bonus there’s off street parking !

5 stars is not enough. The Owl House was the perfect place for our family trip to Jim Thorpe. Comfortable, welcoming and thoughtful living spaces around every corner. Convenient parking. Large, comfortable and well appointed sleeping spaces. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The multitude of details and extras they included to make our stay one of a kind were seemingly endless.

This place is amazing. Amazing location. Beautiful home. Everything you could want. We loved everything. Do not hesitate to spoil yourself and rent this home. We stayed for a girls birthday weekend and took the owl house and made it our theme. So much fun!

The Owl House is just a wonderful place to stay. The hosts, David and Brian, are responsive and willing to provide assistance promptly. They provided GF restaurants, good hiking trails, and rafting companies upon request.The house is a historic beauty. It is well-located in the center of town and a quarter mile from the D&L trail and 3.5 miles from March Chunk Lake. So much to do here for an extended weekend.Parking is also available- a bit tight but definitely workable- even with an expedition. Parking is not easy to find- so this is an amazing addition to the unit.It is easy to see how much thought the owners have put into being hosts. Decorating is beautiful, couches and beds comfortable, and every possible need met. The kitchen is well-stocked and an outdoor grill was also available within a beautifully planted patio/backyard area. We loved watching the resident bunny and hummingbird. We truly so appreciated the additional snacks and drinks that were left for us. My daughters appreciated the wine as they toasted to the oldest’s 30th year. To the owners- Brian & David- Keep doing what you’re doing. So nice to feel cared for in a world where that no longer seems the norm. Thank you again!!!

First time ever to Jim Thorpe PA. The Owl House was totally charming. Just 3 blocks from everything. The hosts were great. Highly responsive. Gave us recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Everything went super smoothly. House was clean and had everything a family would need. Even a little candy in the refrigerator.

What a great time we had at The Owl House in Jim Thorpe. The house is beautiful and it's also really functional for a group. Unlike other VRBOs we've stayed at, this home was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. And we really felt welcomed... the hosts are great. Highly recommend this beautiful home.

The Owl House superseded expectations significantly. We were looking for a weekend to get away in Jim Thorpe and chose the house based mostly on location. The location was ideal, right on the main strip just feet away from coffee and some great restaurants. What made the trip so special was the house itself. The details and design inside the house are nothing short of perfect. The furniture, decor, vibe...was right on. Not only would I stay again but I wouldn't stay anywhere else but here while visiting. Beautifully decorated home with all amenities (and more) provided. Perfect location. Parked our cars in driveway and walked everywhere all weekend. Best vrbo we have had pleasure of staying in.

Our stay at the owl house was one of our best VRBO experiences to date. The house itself is architecturally very unique/cool due to being from the 1800's. They accommodated an early check-in, it was super clean, perfectly decorated for the holidays (Christmas), and the hosts provided a great selection of amenities.The location was excellent for exploring the heart of Jim Thorpe on foot. We will be looking forward to our next reason to return to this spot!

From the complimentary wine and snacks to the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in- our entire stay at The Owl House was incredible. The location could not have been more perfect, the decor and cleanliness was exceptional. Just an overall perfect stay. Could not recommend enough!!

My wife and I, two adult daughters and a son-in-law spent the recent Thanksgiving weekend at the Owl House in Jim Thorpe, PA, and had a wonderful time. The booking process was accomplished without complication. In the weeks prior to our arrival our host, Brian, was thoughtfully in touch with us to make sure we would have everything we would need and to provide information about nearby restaurants and attractions. Directions to the house and entry instructions were clear and complete. The Owl House is located on the main street of shops and eateries in Jim Thorpe within easy walking distance of everything, but far enough to be away from most of the tourist hurly-burly and remarkably quiet. A huge plus for the Owl House was having adjacent off-street parking for three vehicles. Otherwise, parking in Jim Thorpe can be problematic to say the least. The house has been lovingly restored and thoughtfully updated. The furnishings, a mix of antiques and more modern pieces, are welcoming and comfortable throughout. The kitchen is well equipped and was supplied with snacks for us. The three bedrooms are all upstairs. Each has its own full, up-to-date bath, and are arranged to provide maximum privacy. The beds, linens and other furnishings were all first rate. We recommend the Owl House unequivocally– for its location and parking, for its comfort and coziness, and for its considerate hosts. And, if it's a rainy day, you can have a contest to see who can count the most owls. Have fun!

First of all, Brian and David are The Best Hosts! They thought of everything: drinks, snacks, wonderful throw blankets to keep us warm out on the beautiful back porch. They were quick to respond when we had questions. Super generous and accommodating and gave the most beautiful gift to my aunt. If you visit Jim Thorpe, stay at the Owl House!

My friend and I stayed at the Owl House for a weekend getaway. We were more than pleased with the accommodations. The home was immaculate and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The owners, Brian and David, thought of everything you could ever need during your stay. The location is perfect, close to all the action: shops and restaurants. Highly recommend the Owl House!!

I could tell by the initial contact from Brian when I made the reservation, that this was going to be an exceptional experience. As a host, Brian was super responsive and very generous! There were treats waiting for us upon our arrival. The home is amazing…it was decorated for Halloween and so nice and cozy. It had everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. The location is convenient to everything. I would highly recommend staying at the Owl House! We had a PERFECT girls’ trip!

The many 5-star reviews tell the story of The Owl House. It is exactly as pictured and decorated with taste and whimsy. The house has loads of room for everyone—6 can fit comfortably, and each pair has a full bath—and there's a nice mix of inside and outside spaces. The porch is great for morning coffee. Brian and David were wonderful, with hospitality and helpfulness galore. We had evening storms during our stay and lost the backyard lights for an evening, but by the next morning, someone was out to fix them. Having been in Jim Thorpe on the weekend, I now understand how handy it is to have a parking space (or 3). But you'll only need to use your car if you venture farther afield, because you can walk to everything in town. Lots of nice restaurants and great dive bars too, plus, of course, Donerd's. I can't imagine a nicer place to stay than The Owl House. It truly sets the standard for vacation rentals!

My family and I love The Owl House! This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed and each time we walk through the door it’s like coming home. The feel is cozy and inviting. Don’t let this one pass you by.
