THE OWL HOUSE: 2000 sq ft 2 floor private home 2.5 to Downtown Boone!

We stayed at The Owl House for 2 nights. The house is beautiful inside and out. The owners are very responsive in their support of our stay. I forgot to take the Canon charger pack when getting kids out during the checkout hour and the owners contacted me and will mail the charger and battery back to me. We originally planned to ski at the Sugar Mountain Ski Resort which is about 23 minutes drive but my daughter preferred Beech Mountain. We ended up driving 40 minutes one way to Beech Mountain every day and enjoyed seeing mountains. I strongly recommend this place and will come back again when possible for my next trip.

Our stay at the Owl House was wonderful. The home is located close to downtown Boone. It had everything we needed for our family as well as our friends with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We had kids that ranged from age 6 to 16 and everyone enjoyed the home and the area. Lots to do and plenty of house for our party to be comfortable. The host were very responsive and informative during our stay. We had a great time and hope to come back soon.

Wonderful Home perfect for our weekend stay!

What a great house! The owners have done a wonderful job with all the details large and small. The first thing our 19 year old daughter said when walking in the house was how good the vibes were. The look and feel is warm and light with unique but tasteful elements of decor. Loved, loved, loved the lower level (basement) with additional living room. It was the opposite of the dark, spooky basement you might expect. Comfortable furniture throughout. Well setup kitchen with all the things one might need. We didn’t want to leave! Can’t wait to return. Easy communications with the owners. They are extremely nice and professional. You cannot go wrong booking a stay at the Owl’s Nest.

We enjoyed our time at the Owl House! It was the perfect size for 2 families to spread out & have their own spaces! The children really enjoyed the game room! Definitely would rent again!!

Nice place and good feel

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect for 2 families with teenagers. The hosts were awesome at checking up on us. We would definetly come and stay again.

Our stay at the Owl House was great! Our girls group of five were in town for a couple of days to volunteer in the area and it suited our needs perfectly! We all had plenty of room, it was very clean and well stocked. I would defintley recomend and return for a longer stay! It was also a very quick drive to downtown Boone.

We loved this house. It was clean, well stocked with all things needed to cook, bathe, clean up etc. they even had make up remover pads, QTips, body washes and shampoos. We were visiting with family and it was super comfortable for all of us. Would definitely stay again.

This house was absolutely perfect for myself and my teenage sons over a long weekend. Tons of space, well maintained, and clean. My oldest loved having the bedroom downstairs with its large living area and bathroom. Nice outdoor picnic table/area to hang out/eat outside when the weather’s nice. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Boone. We had no problems whatsoever, but the owner was friendly and helpful when we did need to communicate. Will most definitely stay again if I’m ever in the Boone area. Great place!
