Excellent host. The whole family loved the house.

We had a very nice week. Great location and we enjoyed the rocking chairs on the deck and also the covered porch. We wish the bathrooms down stairs were nicer and the ovens were standard size to accommodate cooking for a family.

Perfect location, comfortable house, helpful and responsive hosts.

The owner communicated well and promptly took care of small issues we encountered. Great location and house!

7 in our party with age ranges 20 to 88 years old. Having three bedrooms on same floor as kitchen and living/ dining room was perfect for my elderly mother and disabled husband. My brother enjoys his own space so the downstairs apartment was perfect. Shower lower level very small and can only accommodate small adult but was ok for my daughter. Upstairs kitchen a bit small and was tight if more than two people in there trying to cook, but we managed ok. Downstairs kitchen actually bigger but didn’t ever cook down there. Still a cute functional older home in good condition. Best was the closeness to the beach even though that may not be a good thing in high surf! We will stay again!

We have stayed here before but love it so much we wanted to stay here again. It is the perfect place for a family on a budget. Close enough to shopping that the teenagers were happy. On the beach with a sun deck so momma was happy. The owner is very responsive and the house was spotless! Best vacation and our number one choice for a Topsail Island vacation.

Incredible waterfront view with great deck. Property is older but everything works. The property manager was very responsive.

So far, this is our family's favorite place to stay when we visit Topsail Beach. The house is clean and right on the beach! It doesn't get better than that!

Awesome location within walking distance of pier and Daddy Macs (our favorite lunch/dinner spot). Marriage proposal in our group so extra special. We will be back!

We booked this house along with two other homes for a family reunion. My family of 5 and my sister’s family of 5 stayed in this property. Below are the highlights and lowlights of the week: Highlights: * There was plenty of sleeping room and the teens enjoyed having their separate space downstairs. * The deck overlooking the water was AMAZING was a perfect alternate for the sand. * The kitchen was well stocked. * The house interior was rustic/dated but was cozy & as listed. * Linen rentals were easy and grocery delivery is the way to go! * Weather was perfect and we were able to get out to the beach everyday! Lowlights: * The A/C had a hard time keeping up. The host indicated that the system had just been serviced, but some days it was up to 76 inside. * We were assessed a $100 fee after checkout with a note suggesting that we had a “wedding” on the property. (Not at all the case). The host offered to share pictures of the evidence, which I requested to see. The photo showed “at least 16 people” on the OUTSIDE deck, which was my extended family gathering for pictures. The owners had someone (perhaps the owner themselves) secretly taking pictures of us on the deck. Had we known this wasn’t allowed, we would have decided on a different location. * Beware that your vacay maybe being watched and the max occupancy is 10 regardless of whether you’re inside or out and applies to sleepers and non-sleepers.
