The Oak Haus ~ TX Hill Country escape with hot tub and game room!

All the houses on this place are very nice, and work great for dogs, we enjoyed staying here !!

We took an anniversary trip and took our 13yr old with us.We all 3 enjoyed our stay. We made an quick trip to San Antonio for lunch & some shopping. The local HEB has everything you could need.Super nice little house. Plenty of space, it was great for our weekend getaway. Hot tub was enjoyed! Game room was super fun. Beds were very comfy & shower worked great. We cooked on the grill and had a great time. We were aware that there was a residence on the property & another rental. They also have added 2 others. It did not impact our stay, we had privacy.They are super prepared with notes & labels on everything. The hosts checked in with us several times, making sure we were good and didn't need anything.

Very nice Vrbo experience Well kept and clean

We completely enjoyed our stay at the Oak Haus. Everything was very clean and well appointed. When we weren't out taking in the countryside (Luckenbach 20 mins away!) or visiting the quaint Boerne downtown area we were enjoying the quiet back patio (love the large wooden rocking chairs!) or relaxing under the stars in the spacious hot tub. Audrey & Kevin were excellent hosts - super responsive and available (though they've set things up so well we didn't need to reach out for anything after we arrived). We even spent some time in the game room (no kids but kids at heart) and had some fun. It was a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Ac cooling wasn’t great, but thankfully nights were cool outside.

Have stayed here several times and always a great place to be home away from home. Kevin is always easy to get ahold of and check in on you while you are there. Will definitely stay here again!! 5 Star VRBO

We have stayed here twice and loved the house. It is clean and the floor plan is great. The hot tub was awesome!! The grandkids loved the game room. The place is very private and quiet. Would highly recommend staying here and we plan on staying there again. Thanks Audrey and Kevin

Very clean, great game room for the kids

Excellent property with multiple guest houses in case you want an entire family to stay but with separate homes.The Oak Haus particularly was brand new, modern and clean, with all of the amenities that one would need for any length of stay. The owners were very accommodating and even amenable to allowing me to have Instacart deliver groceries from the nearby store. Full-sized refrigerator, range, coffee maker, dishwasher, table for six, jumbo TV. The fenced yard is perfect for small dogs and they even include doggy bags for you. Beds were comfortable and the place has central heat and air that works extremely well. Water pressure was good and I especially appreciated that every single light switch was labeled. Nice touch!

We had such a great and relaxing time. Everything was exactly as advertised. Great house and the amenities of the game room, basketball court and hot tub were enjoyed by the whole family! Would definitely recommend.

Everything was great, new, clean, and updated. There was lots of signage and labels so it was easy to settle in. It’s close to Main Street Boerne, but not too close. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and letting our pup explore.

The house was wonderful. It had everything we needed. The hot tub was a nice surprise and my son had a great time shooting hoops at the basketball court. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard and having the poop bags there made it easy to keep clean.

Property was as described. Nice and quiet at night. Hot tub was nice to enjoy in the evenings. Host was accommodating to needs and accessible as needed. Would definitely recommend

This rental is a beautiful find. Not only is it clean and well kept, it is probably the best setup amenities wise that we have seen in a rental. There is a very detailed instruction book on how to use everything in the house from the TV to the coffee pot, very light is switch labeled (SO nice to not have to play the guessing game with the lights) to restaurant recommendations and things to do nearby. I LOVED the coffee bar. The hot tub was VERY relaxing (and also very clean ), the game room is also cute We truly enjoyed our stay here, even just sitting out on the back patio in the rocking chairs and watching the sunrise/sunset and wildlife, I think we saw a couple of deer in the yard most mornings. We also really appreciated the communication. I wish that more rental listings where done as well as the Oak Haus. Thank you again for having us

The house and property is amazing. Lots of little extras that we appreciated. Soap amd shampoo provided, extra trash bags and paper towels, bottled water, coffee (grounds and pods), and the charging lamps. Overall a great place to stay!

The Oak Haus was great for our small family. It was clean, quiet and well stocked. Our 11 yo son loved the game room and we used the hot tub as well. Communication with the host was quick & easy.

If there was a way to leave more than a 5 star review I would! The owners were extremely accommodating and respond quickly to messages. We literally had our vacation packed with activities, but the property was so amazing and relaxing we stayed there instead and relaxed. The property was in a great location country, but close to restaurants, stores, and major San Antonio attractions without the Crazy busyness of the city. Everything was perfect and we'd definitely stay again.

This is a dog friendly vbro. There was dog hair on the bed sheets, floor, and in the dryer. We were looking forward to playing cornhole however it was it really bad shape. A very disappointing experience. The owners were notified and did reimburse some of the cost. Additionally, there are 2 other VBROs close and 2 houses. This was not disclosed on the posting.

This is by far the cleanest, most fun and well equipped rental I have ever stayed in, and I’ve stayed in a LOT of rentals. They offer a fully stocked coffee bar with everything you could hope for, including a frother. There are spices for grilling, a filtered water dispenser, a beautiful fully stocked kitchen, more than enough towels, tons of storage, and comfortable beds. We used the basketball court, the game room, the grill, the hot tub, and watched TV - everything exceeded our expectations. The owners truly thought of everything and have done a wonderful job. They sent a message checking to make sure we had everything we needed, and were very attentive. This would be the perfect set-up for multiple families traveling together, with the fun shared amenities. It’s about a 10 minute drive to Boerne, 25 to San Antonio and 40 to Fredericksburg. Great location if you want to do it all. My family of 4 gives it 8 thumbs up.

Very clean and well stocked 2 bedroom. Great location. Seperate Arcade added extra fun to our stay. Needed to contact owner with a question and received a quick response. Great signage makes navigating the property and check out easy. We will Definitely be returning to this Quiet, Cozy home away from home! property and check out easy.

I highly recommend The Oak Haus to everyone!! This place made for a great environment for welcoming back our son from graduating from the Air Force. The hosts were just as awesome as the property!! My family really enjoyed our stay here! My son loved the game room and we enjoyed a night dip in the hot tub. Loved being able to do laundry and everything we needed was available to linen and toiletries. Will definitely be booking again!

The home was beautiful, relaxing and everything we had hoped it would be as we celebrated my birthday. Our mornings started with coffee as we relaxed on the on porch watching for deer and other wild life. It is close to so many things but great get away from noise and crowds.

An amazing weekend retreat! The house is only 10 minutes from Boerne so easy to run into town for supplies, but at night it's just you and the crickets. The master bedroom is huge, with a desk area and couch/big TV. Hot tub on back porch was a hit. When we arrived you could smell the cleaner. Everything we needed was provided. We ran into a tiny issue with the gate and the host answered his phone and assisted immediately. There was a game room that we didn't use much but if you had kids with you it would be a hit. The only negative was the mattress quality - the master bedroom mattress jiggled quite a bit and leaned a lot over by the headboard. But the furniture throughout the house was great quality and the sitting areas were comfy and cozy. Overall a great stay and would book again!

We had a wonderful time with our little get away. The Oak Haus is in a great spot and we enjoyed the food of Boerne with a few trips into San Antonio. The hot tub was nice and the game room was fun, which was great to unwind with after a trip into San Antonio or one of the nearby nature trails!

This property was perfect our trip to explore San Antonio. About 30 minutes outside of the city but still has all the amenities that you need close by including fast food and groceries. The house was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was perfect for relaxin in the evenings.
