Stayed Aug 2, 2025Its was a very beutiful home, in a great neighborhood. Had no issues with checking in it was very clean and they left cute little folded papertowels and stuff everywhere for guest and had it nicely stocked with kitchen untensils and supplies.

Stayed May 9, 2024The Muirwood Retreat is in a lovely, clean neighborhood with easy access to downtown Murfreesboro, grocery stores, and such. The owner quickly responded to our texts. This house is so spacious and allowed us to host a wedding rehearsal dinner there. But the kitchen needs more dishes (not plastic), glasses, and coffee mugs (we only had 3, even though the house sleeps 11 - the owner did bring 3 more mugs, but there should be enough to cover the number of people that can sleep there). There were no kitchen towels or bathroom hand towels, and the towels really need to be replaced - very thin and well-worn. The floors need a good wet mop cleaning. The furniture was sparse. After visiting my son's vrbo (that was decorated beautifully) a few minutes away, we realized this house needs some updating - it felt very 90s.

Stayed May 3, 2024Overall we were pleased with the rental. It was spacious and quiet. Only thing negative was the lawn had not been cut and the grass was pretty high. The internet did not work so we had no TV access the first night. However the host did get the issue resolved the next day.
