The Mission at Roanoke

We were in and out of Springfield for a night. It was a smooth check-in, check-out stay. Minimal communication was needed and all of our needs were taken care of for the night without any extra communication needed.

Communication with host was great. Close to lots of restaurants and entertainment venues.

Property was just as detailed in the listing. However, when we arrived on Friday night, the family that was due to check in on Saturday was already in the home. They were very nice, realized their mistake in the check in time and proceeded to leave for a hotel. They had already taken showers and had friends over by the time we arrived. This could’ve been a much bigger problem and a safety issue had they been a different group of people.

I’m sorry to say that we left after 1 day in a 4 night stay. Never leave reviews but felt obligated. 1. Not clean. Old soap in shower, towel on bathroom floor, cold coffee in coffee pot. Dirt and dead bugs on floor. 2. Back door not secure in my opinion.3. Window in kitchen cannot be locked4. No blinds in kitchen. 5. Wife hit in the head with kitchen cabinet molding that broke off6. Loud road noise from busy intersection throughout the night.. They actually have a container of earplugs in each bedroom.7. Kitchen sink and faucet handle needs replaced.8. Bathtub painted and chipping.The house could be nice but I’d never stay there because of the noise level. Owners did give us a refund for the balance of our stay which was appreciated.

Place was clean and good location for what we wanted.

Everything was as listed. Everyone had a great night sleep and said beds were very comfortable. House was really cute and we had enough parking space in front of home. Would stay again

The basement was musty smelling when we arrived (it had been raining that weekend but the air purifier was off when we arrived). The bedroom off the dining room is a glass door and didn’t have a curtain, so privacy in that room was minimal. Parking was confusing as the street has signs saying permits are required, but we didn’t have any. Overall, it was very clean! For what we needed however, we wished a few things were a bit better.

House was so cute! Beds were super comfortable . Hosts were great communicators and very helpful. Would stay here again!

Clean and spacious. Great linens. Loved the architecture and location. Host was courteous and responsive. Strongly recommend if staying in the Springfield area.

It was okay! Close to a busy city street at all hours of the night. However, it was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Great location and lots of room for activities. We were in town for a funeral and was able to have everyone at one place for dinner.

Great location for our visit to Springfield as well as being close to the university. Owners were responsive and had a beautiful home.

Perfect for our family of 8. Quiet neighborhood. Home was exactly as advertised. We will be back.

The perfect house for our stay in Springfield! Spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a large, well stocked kitchen. Large dining room where we played games, as well as a well appointed living room where we all watched a movie together. Close to the campus that we were visiting as a potential school for our daughter. Really enjoyed the historic neighborhood, as well. Great communication with the host. If our daughter ends up attending MO State, I’m sure we will book again!

The home was very clean and spacious. It provided the perfect place for us to relax with friends.

This is a great property for a family. Plenty of room with 3 large rooms upstairs and then a downstairs with its own small living room area with TV and two twin beds perfect for teens. I cannot say enough about how beautiful this home is. Every detail, furniture, bedding- I mean I would live here! The location was awesome- 5 minutes south is bass pro, 5 minutes north is downtown Springfield. Will definitely book again! Cheaper than getting two hotel rooms for our family of 6!

We really enjoyed this house. It is an older house with great character. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. It is on a busy street, and yet it is isolated from the traffic because of its location on a cul-de-sac. There is a lot of traffic noise, which we are not used to, but I slept great anyway. The little tent was greatly appreciated by our grandkids. They loved playing in there. Definitely recommend.

Overall a nice stay. Some problems with the upstairs bathroom and front steps were slippery in the rain.

The managers really thought of everything each room had something thoughtful that you might need for a stay away from home. This house is so charming cozy, antique, with modern touches an absolutly comfortable stay for a large family like ours.

Everything went great, the property was as expected, it met our needs our family (3 generations) was comfortable! I’m a newbie to this and it was very easy and the home was great.
