The LoveShack- MidCenturyModern w hot tub in the Poconos!

The Love Shack was amazing! My wife and I had a great time! We will definitely be back. We had fires outside both nights. The gaming system was a Lot of fun as well. The Welcome moonshine was a great gift. The beds are super comfortable. Normally most accommodations have terrible beds, not the Love Shack! We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family!!

We had such a wonderful stay at Amy’s love shack! The place was absolutely beautiful—spotlessly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a true little getaway.The surrounding area was just as lovely—peaceful, quiet, and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Even though our stay was short, we enjoyed every moment and truly appreciated the care Amy puts into her space.We would absolutely love to come back again and highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing escape!

Loved my stay here, everything was clean and the house is stunning and cozy. I was disappointed to find no sand on the shuffleboard table making it unable to be played, and some blind should definitely be put into the window directly above the toilet in the master bath. Overall, I would definitely return!

The property was inviting as was the neighborhood, with its friendly deer and even a bear one morning checking out a garbage bin. The central location made for easy driving to other Poconos attractions. We enjoyed using the 2-person hot tub in the evenings. The owner was helpful with our questions. I did miss having more basics included in the kitchen, like coffee, creamer, etc. Overall, a very good experience and I would recommend the house to other travelers.

Its close to the beach, The Hub for fresh food and coffee, Louies Steakhouse near by, it is simply a beautiful area to be in. Thank you for such a fabulous place to stay.

We had such a relaxing time in this beautifully renovated spacious cabin in Lake Harmony. It is in a lovely, peaceful location with the opportunity of walks around the lake and beyond. The home has all necessary amenities including a game room. It is pet friendly and our dog really enjoyed herself. Our host, Amy, was very responsive to all of our questions. We highly recommend this location if you are looking for a relaxing time.

A Perfect Getaway for Couples & Families!My boyfriend , two kids, and I had an incredible stay at the Love Shack. From the moment we arrived, we could tell this was a thoughtfully designed retreat, blending cozy mid-century charm with modern amenities. The vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows immediately set the vacation mood, and the living area was perfect for unwinding together. The well-stocked kitchen made it easy to cook meals, but we also loved sitting on the front porch, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The game room was a huge hit for all of us—playing old-school arcade games, shuffleboard, and even oversized Connect Four kept us entertained for hours. And of course, the hot tub and fire pit were the perfect way to end each day. Sleeping arrangements were great, offering plenty of space for our family while maintaining the cozy atmosphere that makes this spot so special. The attention to detail, like room-darkening shades and a tankless hot water system, ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The Love Shack is perfectly located—close to hiking, water activities, skiing, and great local spots for food and drinks. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this place has it all. We loved every moment and would highly recommend it to couples or families looking for a unique escape!

We absolutely loved our stay with Amy! The cabin was exactly like the pictures. Check in/out was super easy. Kitchen was stocked with essentials like described. The neighborhood was perfect. We will be back. 5 stars! Highly recommend!

The love shack was super cute! We had a great, restful week. We grilled a lot & made great use of the 2 person hot tub after all the hiking - the trails and waterfalls were lovely!

The house was as described. It is in a cluster of homes a short walk from Lake Harmony. It was spacious, light-filled and clean. Our host sent check in instructions before our arrival and there was a booklet with house information inside the house. We loved the mid century decor. The working phonograph and records were a perfect touch! Our hosts were easy to communicate with and got back to any inquiry very quickly.

Amy was beyond accommodating and responsive from the initial inquire to our check out. The house is just as pictured and had everything you would need. Not to mention the bed was so cozy! It’s a great location with easy access to the lake as well as the restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend staying here and we look forward to booking our next weekend getaway at the love shack!

Everything from start to finish was incredible! Amy's communication was superb. Once we arrived, the house was exactly as it looked in the listing, BUT BETTER! From the rain shower to the fireplace to the hot tub to the game room to the coffee maker, it was amazing! And the bed was so comfy! I couldn't have asked for a better home away from the city! It had just snowed and it even snowed while we were there making the stay magical. To top it off, everyone in Lake Harmony was SO NICE! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend!

This house was perfect for our family of 4's long winter weekend in the Poconos. It was a great location for multiple mountains. The house itself was awesome and the game room was a big added bonus. The host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

I needed a little break from everyday life and this was the perfect spot! A cozy little family room, a perfect front porch and a fun game room! I wasn’t able to take advantage of the fire pit and hot tub but what an awesome feature! I hope to come back with friends some time soon! 10/10 recommend! Amy was also a pleasure to work with! The Love Shack was the perfect location for my husband and I to run away and get married! The property was beautiful and location was perfect.

My partner and I had a great time at The Love Shack. The property was super spacious and had everything we needed. Our pup, Miso, enjoyed watching squirrels out of the large windows in the main room. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the neighborhood was really quiet and felt private. We will definitely be back!

This house was perfect for me and my fiancé/husband to stay in while getting married. Host was great and accommodating even leaving us a Mr and Mrs aprons. The house itself is very nice and has everything that you could need.

Loved the game room and the fireplace! Beds were very comfy. Regulating of the heat was a plus!!!

The house is cute and overall our stay was ok, but we had some issues out of the gate with no hot water. Host responded to assist when we contacted her during business hours the next morning and we ended up getting hot water when the plumber came out that night. However, the odor from a dead rodent(s) under the sink that she removed when she stopped by never went away. It got worse when we used the water or dishwasher. Not sure if it needed to be cleaned out with bleach or if there were more under that trap but it was a strong foul smell. Sadly, the hot tub jets didn’t work either and after reaching out to her, she thinks it was a pressure issue under the tub so nothing that could be easily remedied for our stay. Amy refunded us for our first night with no hot water and we ended up leaving a night early because the odor in the kitchen area was an issue for us trying to cook and eat there and was making my younger son feel nauseous . I’m sure none of this was intentional by the host but it all put a damper on our trip. We enjoyed the gaming room area and beds were comfy. Amy is a responsive house but only so much could be remedied during our stay. We enjoyed the boat parade and party at Nick’s Lake House - Fun time with great weather for that event. House is in a pretty quiet area. The area in Split Rock and the resort was very quiet with almost no guests or activities. I felt bad having to reach out to her again about the foul odor so we just left a day early.

Was a great place to do nothing if you want and close enough to other places for some good day trips. Bushkill falls is only 1 hr East and worth the trip! Jim Thorpe 16 miles south. Some really nice restaurants within a mile or so as well. We ate at Louie’s Steakhouse and the food was excellent but pricey. We loved the house decor. Definitely a cool retro place. The master bedroom had a great foam mattress and sleep was great. The house was very clean and comfortable The hostess was very communicative and left us a little gift for our 50th anniversary 😊. The only disappointment was the beach was really not a beach but a lagoon that was closed. I recommend this place!

We were truly impressed with the overall design and layout of the house. The place had everything we needed and was in beautiful condition. The location was perfect for a relaxing time with friends and family to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The game room and the Jacuzzi added to the experience. I would return in the future.
