The Little Big House on the Dunes!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful and we especially loved the large back deck with direct access to the beach. Its the perfect spot to catch an amazing sunrise. We also found the beds to be very comfortable which is not always the case in a rental property. The hosts communicated quickly and were very helpful with a few questions we had. Amelia island is a fun beach town with great restaurants, bars and beautiful Clinch Park. We would absolutely stay at this rental again.

CleanlinessThe house was great. Location was perfection-view in the morning was worth everything, but the house itself was not very clean. The couch looked sat in with crumbs all over it. The fridge doors were covered in finger prints. The bug in the bed. The floors could’ve been vacuumed.

The Little Big House on the Dunes was perfect for our family Christmas get-together. The house was big enough to accommodate all 16 of us. The kitchen had every item we needed to prepare meals. The grill on the deck was great. We had six vehicles and had plenty of room to park them. We enjoyed the deck and going to the beautiful beach on the private board walk. The house was a long walk or short drive to the historic downtown. The downtown has numerous restaurants and interesting shops, which were beautifully decorated for the holiday season.

The views and access to the beach are hard to beat! Good outdoor space. Quick responses to any questions we had.

Nice location, great beach access, beautiful view and pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay with our family. We were within a 1/4 mile walking distance from the start of the Amelia Island races which my husband and I ran, so that was super cool.

This house was a perfect place to stay for my cousins wedding. We were able to put everyone in this house. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms and kitchen were big enough for our whole family.

We had an extraordinary time. The house was absolutely perfect. Everything you could possibly dream of was in the kitchen to prepare meals. The beds were super comfortable and the linens fresh and laundered. Amazing air conditioning as it was super hot outside. All the beach towels and chairs we needed were ready and available. The Grill on the deck was an excellent working order. We definitely would stay again.

I can’t say enough good things about the Little Big House. The location is perfect. Great walkout directly onto the beach. The beach wasn’t crowded at all! There’s a restaurant within walking distance right near the house that’s delicious. You can also walk up from the beach to grab lunch or dinner. Beds were very comfortable. Tons of kitchen cookware & storage. We never felt too crowded in the house. Plenty of space for a big family. We had 6 cars & no trouble parking at all. Very nice place to vacation!! We hope to revisit soon!

Our family of 8 adult and 4 grandchildren all 5 years old and younger had a wonderful time at Little Big House on the Dunes! With 7 bedrooms we had plenty of room to spread out. The family gathering space and dining on the main level was spacious and perfect for us. Access to the beach with our own personal board walk was great for us with an easy walk. Having gates on the deck and the board walk was nice for the safety of our young grandchildren! We would definitely come back to stay again!

The house was a perfect spot for a girlfriend’s weekend. We enjoyed the sunrises and the beach walks. The house definitely needs some TLC on the porches with broken items laying around and some issues with insects in the downstairs. I sent a message to manager. But, we had a great time!

Location of house is excellent. A bit of an odd setup with the downstairs and upstairs being connected by outdoor access. Lower level has been updated and upstairs could use a refresher, but nothing is problematic. The renter was responsive when asked questions.

Excellent location to downtown and the beach!!

The layout of the house worked well for our family of 13. The private boardwalk from the house to the beach was definitely an asset. We did encounter a few issues during our stay with regards to the property. There was a leak that appeared to be from the upstairs washer that leaked directly onto one of the bunk beads which caused some inconvenience to where people slept. We did not find out about it until day 4 of our stay because family members arrived on different d co thewas

Great property for a family gathering/celebration. Outstanding location - easy to get to everything! Open floor plan and walk out deck is great for groups of people; everyone can be together and you can always see the ocean. We enjoyed our trip very much and would definitely stay again.

Property was clean, well furnished and conviently located to all beach amenities. A Kuerig coffee maker would be a nice addition.

Cannot wait to come here again! Plenty of room,comfy beds, great appliances !

Best place we have stayed in 20 years of renting at Amelia.

This beautiful beach house did not disappoint- it had a bright, airy,comfortable “like home” feel & the location was serene, perfect. A lovely place to come rest & relax w/the great breezes, natural dunes overlooking the beach, & a private boardwalk deck that went straight out to the beach… just what I was looking for & needed. There were spectacular sunrises & sunsets- I did not leave the property once!. No need to, as this home had everything from beach towels to super comfortable beds & linens to a fully stocked kitchen to beach chairs etc…. The AC system worked better than any I’ve had- it was a very welcoming,pleasant, & much appreciated surprise, especially upon arrival!?. This allowed for a most enjoyable time, especially after a warmer day on the beach. The t.v.’s were great & the showers too-plenty of hot water w/ great water pressure. I loved the private, large porch upstairs, especially b/c it was half covered (with fans too) & had a very comfortable sofa (& chairs) to settle into to watch the spectacular sunsets. My pup loved spending time with me too on the porch watching the airborne wildlife (pelicans especially!) & the dunes wildlife (the occasional shy, wild bunnies). The neighbors were so quiet too but friendly?. The location was just the best- peaceful but close to the national park beaches, lighthouse, fort etc. if you wanted to go explore. I did not have any worries being alone in this quiet, clean, friendly neighborhood. I would LOVE to return!.

We loved our stay in this house so much! Cannot beat the location. Access to the Beach right from our house. The beach was so quiet! We loved hanging out on the deck especially!
