the property was very nice and the host extremely friendly. Recommendations on local attractions were provided and we were even provided a refund for one night when we needed to leave earlier than expected.

Excellent location with everything you need all right there. We were repeatedly surprised by how prepared the host was providing everything you could possibly think of. Never had to run into town for supplies. Absolutely stunning surroundings. Out of the way while still being close enough to town.

Our host Rick was great and has a beautiful property. I will definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

This property was absolutely amazing and had everything we needed plus more. Every detail took a lot of thought. The hosts were incredible. Very clean, quiet, beautiful and if you need relaxation we would highly recommend.

We had everything we needed for our short stay. There was a coffee pot but no Keurig so that threw us a bit to remember how to make coffee in a pot. Ha!

The house was very accommodating, and was stocked with all of the supplies. We didn’t even know we needed! The host went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay. Would be a great place to go in the summer, and would be a pet friendly as well.

The house was just as imagined. We were worried about it being really close to the road but the sound of the river seemed to drown out any road noise. It was the best location for us. We had zero cell service (but was able to connect to the WiFi), which was an absolute God send. It seems our phones are constantly going off so the quiet was much needed! The fire pit, the weather, the changing of the trees….the perfect get away for us! Thank you for sharing your little slice of Heaven!

Our second time staying at this cozy and comfortable cabin. We will return.

Really great place to access all of the Missoula to Hamilton area - the Host is a great guy and has provided many fun things to do at the property.

The Lazy Trout was a perfect getaway for our family. It's clean, cozy, and comfortable indoors and the scenery is beautiful outdoors. There's plenty to do if you like the outdoors like your own personal zip line which crosses Lolo creek or grilling hot dogs on the deck. Fishing, floating or just watching for wildlife from the outdoor bar creekside. We hope to be visiting the Lazy Trout for years to come.

Rick’s place was wonderful, and he was a fantastic host. He talked fishing with the husband, accommodated our last-minute booking, and was available for questions. His house had a great yard, and it was wonderful falling asleep to the sound of the river every night. Everything was clean, and I loved the outdoorsy decor, comfy blankets, comfortable furniture, and patio. Great place to unwind!

First time in Montana for a wedding and stayed at the lazy trout. It was absolutely perfect for my family and we had a wonderful time. Close to everything

The cabin was charming, cozy, clean, tastefully arranged, sheets amazing, nice touches all around.We loved everything about the creek, the location from Missoula and Lolo, the personality of the outdoor amenities! A gem! Hope to go back next year!

This cabin was just as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked, and had all the essentials. It was small but never felt cramped. We loved our time there.

Right on the creek-what more can you ask for? The deck was a perfect place to sit and read or to just watch and listen to the water. Well-supplied kitchen and comfortable beds.

Clean, quaint, beautiful surroundings… I would absolutely recommend staying here and I plan to return myself, the river is unbeatable and so peaceful. 5 stars all around!

Absolutely loved staying here, and the sound of the river during the night was so soothing. Hosts provided extras that were very much appreciated (especially the chocolate)! Great communication and close enough to everything, but also far enough for peace and quiet. We loved it!!

If you’ve ever needed a few days to rest and relax to the sound of a river with a cozy stew cooking on the stove for dinner, all while enjoying a good book. This is that perfect spot. Look no further.

This was just what my spouse and I needed. It was right on the water and we slept like babies. So thankful we got to experience this.

We can't tell you enough how much we enjoyed our stay here! They have everything you could possibly need and the dish satellite has so many channels! The sound of lolo creek right next to the property provides such a relaxing sound.. we will definitely recommend this place to everyone we know!
