The Jocassee Tiny House is nestled on 13 acres of land near beautiful Lake Jocassee. On the property, you will find a little creek and an orchard of very young fruit trees (apples, pears, and peaches). Additionally, you might find blueberries, blackberries, and muscadines. Enjoy your coffee on the porch with the first sunbeams of the day. There’s a fire pit for bbq and s’mores. On a clear night, you can't beat the view of the stars in the night sky. You may even catch a glimpse of wildlife.
There is a wildlife camera on the property when entering the driveway and a security camera on the front porch overlooking the patio and/or front porch. If you feel uncomfortable with the security camera you're welcome to unplug it, but you need to plug it back in before leaving the property.
Amazing property, very clean. Would definitely stay there again!
Stay was great! Tiny house had everything you need for your stay and the layout made it feel like you had a ton of space. Property was great to explore and couldn’t have asked for more on a quick getaway!
We had the most wonderful stay! It was peaceful, relaxing, and easy. Rented a pontoon for a day on the lake and loved being so close to Jocassee. The boys loved the tiny house! Also, we took great advantage of a quiet night by the fire pit.
The house is tiny, but very cozy, private and well equipped. It worked well for our family of four. It seems to have a few childproofing features for those with little ones. It’s less than a mile from Devil’s Fork state park and it’s boat ramp. The driveway is steep, but there’s plenty of room at the top of the driveway to park a truck with a small boat trailer as long as you don’t pass the telephone pole (neighbor’s property beyond it, to the west). We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your special place with our family!
Great experience however the beds on the top loft area had bugs in between the sheets. ☹️ Definitely want to go back because of the convenience next to the lake and the overall cleaniness to it however Lake Jocassee Tiny House owners may want to look into sealing the windows or ceiling a little more to avoid the bugs from getting in.
My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Every inch of room is utilized in the cutest way , offering a comfortable place to stay even with it being considered a tiny home. We loved how secluded it was , how close to the boat ramp it was , and the fact that there was everything there needed to have a nice camping experience. Everything was clean and organized and the owners were nice and accomodating.
Good location, secluded. a mile or so away from the boat ramp and Devils Fork.
We booked this cute house as overflow sleeping space for adult grandchildren during our family Thanksgiving weekend. The location is very private and peaceful - The house itself is well equipped and absolutely immaculate - Additionally, our property host went over and above to assure that we had everything we needed for their stay. I highly recommend the Jocassee Tiny House - in fact, our guests have already requested that we book it again next year!
What a great place! It was perfect for a three day get away to kayak and enjoy Lake Jocassee. The house is immaculate and is equipped with everything I needed. Although it is a tiny house, the layout is well thought out and it gave me enough room for everything. I will book this place again!
Great property. Perfect get away for two couples. Great proximity to the boat ramp for a day or two on the lake.
