My stay at The Homestead was amazing. The house was bigger and brighter than expected - all guests that arrived said the pictures do not do it justice. The place was well-equipped and the beds were very surprisingly comfortable. The location was beautiful and in a scenic area. I enjoyed a few cups of tea in the morning sun and at night looking up at the many stars. With the lovely weather we felt like we were further away from our homes in London 1-2 hours away. We went for a group walk to really take it in! Check-in was very quick with the host just requiring a call when we were on the way and letting us get settled within 2 mins of meeting us. Although this was lovely at the time, it became my only gripe as we were unaware of the check-out process and considerable clean-up expectations (in comparison to other staycation homes and hotels) which could have been explained at check-in. Overall a VERY pleasant experience and I would highly recommend The Homestead for any groups seeking a private, tranquil getaway. Just beautiful

We had a great stay, we were a large party ageing 62 to 7 and we all had plenty of room and beds, which were all very comfy

This past weekend we celebrated my sisters bridal shower and it was the perfect location for a nice relaxing girls getaway. The house is so nice and spacious, with views of never ending fields. We were able to go visit the horses next door and it was a short drive in to town. Overall, we all had an amazing time! The owner was very kind and helpful too.

We spent the bank holiday weekend at this lovely property and had an excellent experience. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortably accommodated our group of 12. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed stunning views of the countryside fields. A highlight of our stay was the presence of four beautiful horses and a friendly pony, which added a special touch to our visit. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the dining area featured a large table perfect for our entire group to eat together. Additionally, the property is conveniently located just a 20-minute drive from Canterbury. Martin is a wonderful host, and we would definitely love to return to this property in the future. Highly recommended!

The Homestead is a lovely house, which is very tastefully furnished . The views were stunning especially seeing the horses in the fields. The beds were all very comfortable and the house spotlessly clean All the equipment we needed was provided and the hosts Martin and Paula were very friendly. We would certainly recommend this house to anyone wishing to spend time with family and friends. It was lovely

The house was in need of attention, the blinds were broken, the sofas old and uncomfortable. We were told we could bring our dog only to be told he had to be on a lead at all times even though there was a garden. This meant we had to keep all the doors closed. We walked our 4 year old twins to see the horses to be told they’d better keep away from the fences as they are all electrified.

Recently stayed at The Homestead for my sisters hen weekend with some family and friends. The house was perfect for our murder mystery dinner evening with the large table seating 16 people and spacious kitchen. Beautiful grounds over looking fields and woodland. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Only a short 10-15 drive into the centre of Canterbury. Would definitely recommend and stay again with family.
