Take a step back from everyday life and treat your family and friends to a once in a lifetime experience. The Brasenhill is one of the most treasured historic Pennsylvania estates.

This exquisite home was built in 1928 by the esteemed John Worrilow, founder of Lebanon Steel Co., as a peaceful getaway for himself and his family. Each room was artfully and intentionally designed by one of the architects for the Washington National Cathedral. From the elegant “Main Staircase” mirroring a favorite staircase at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to “The Worrilow Great Room,” a spacious living area modeled after the prestigious castle “Haddon Hall” of Derbyshire, England where “The Princess Bride” was filmed, complete with Italian carved molding and a marble fireplace....its not until you’ve meandered these historic spaces and explored the majestic grounds that you can truly soak in the history and charm of the Brasenhill Mansion.

The estate boasts 9 luxurious bedrooms (with TV's, bluetooth speakers & more!), 9 bathrooms, 4 Kitchens fully equipped, one with a Viking stove, a convection oven, 2 commercial-grade dishwashers (done in 90 seconds!), 2 dining rooms, a library with leather seating and TV, a massive Sun Porch, various alcoves and sitting areas, and a basement -level man cave with multiple TVs, pool table and more.

Check Out a Virtual Video Tour Here

The Sun Porch is your gateway to the grounds, leading first to our spacious outdoor patio which hosts enchanting evenings you’re sure to cherish for years to come.

The remarkable Grand Master Suite spans the West wing of the 2nd floor of the mansion. It includes the Master Bedroom with King sized four-poster bed, fireplace, spacious sitting area with flatscreen TV, as well as his and hers custom walk-in dressers and an attached Solarium, or “Sleeping Porch” as it was first intended. The Master Bath includes elegant windows with stunning views of the grounds, soaking tub, separate shower, and twin vanities. You’ll feel like the king and queen of the castle as you enjoy a glass of wine and soak in all the charm and elegance Brasenhill has to offer.

Stepping into The Steel Room is like stepping into a roaring 20’s speak easy. Your friends can pull up a stool to the 100 year old bar for a drink, play a round of billiards or darts in the game room, or kick back around the fireplace in the luxurious leather couch or chairs to catch the game on one of the 2 flatscreen TVs. Located on the West portion of the basement level, this is a ‘cave’ any man would be envious of.

The Brasenhill Mansion has been home away from home to many families. We even offer a Sonos Sound System, to round out our list of luxury amenities.

Many memories have been created at the Brasenhill…

Now, it’s your turn.

Whether a wedding, family reunion, getaway or other special stay, we look forward to designing a memorable experience for you and your guests. Please feel free to contact us with any questions that can help plan your special vacation or event.

We thoroughly enjoyed our annual cousins’ weekend at this remarkable property. We spent much of our time together in the kitchen, around the dining table, and relaxing on the porch. One of our favorite traditions is honoring our grandmother by preparing the meals she used to make for us, and the spacious chef’s kitchen gave everyone room to gather comfortably while we cooked. It was equally special to share those meals together at the large dining table. The house and grounds are beautiful and have a timeless charm that made us feel as though we had stepped back in time. Staying here was an unforgettable experience, and we are so grateful to the host for opening this extraordinary home to guests like us. It truly gave us a sense of what it must have been like to spend time in a grand vacation mansion from the early 1900s.

We stayed at Brasenhill Estate for a family reunion and couldn’t have been happier. James was incredibly responsive and made the whole process smooth. The property is beautiful — huge both inside and out — with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it for large gatherings.

My family gets together every summer and this year we looked for one place that could fit us all. At one time we had 22 people (adults) in the house. The mansion was perfect for this. There are plenty of beds, the kitchen was great and everyone loved the dishwasher. The dining room was big enough for all of us and the patio was great for breakfast in the morning. The place was big enough for you to find space to yourself as well. Everyone should experience living in a mansion at least once. The owners were great communicators. If I texted them they responded quickly. We would stay here again.

We've been here twice, and it's been fantastic every time. Every single part of this massive place is beautiful, it's always clean, there are amenities galore, and it's an easy place to make memories. Absolutely love it.

Our family of 20, ranging in age from 7 months to 88 years old had a wonderful week at the Brasenhill Mansion. The house was immaculate on arrival, with a kind welcome from the owner, who was exceptionally responsive to questions during the week and who couldn't have been more helpful. There was plenty of space to relax, with a large formal dining room and great kitchen to prepare meals, multiple living room spaces, and a wonderful man-cave in the basement with pool and fooz-ball. We were fortunate to have great weather and really enjoyed the beautiful gardens and spacious patio. The house is elegant and charming but very comfortable and modern. It was the perfect location from Hershey and Lancaster with many attractions for kids and grandkids to enjoy. It was the ideal place for our family to gather!

I looked for a house to host my extended family for a joint 70th birthday observation and an Easter Celebration. When my children were young (before teenager time), we brought them to Hershey, PA to tour the chocolate factory and visit Hershey Park so we booked the house. The Brasenhill Mansion offered plenty of room for my brother and his wife, my wife and me, my two adult married children, their spouses, the 5 grandchildren ages 1-6, and my single son. The house easily held them all with plenty of room to spread out and to be entertained. We had catered dinners two nights at the house and went out the third to a lovely restaurant less than a mile away. The house held many treasured spaces for the grandkids and the gardens were lovely in the spring and made the perfect space for an Easter Egg Hunt. I can heartily recommend the home for a large family get together. There was a consensus among the group that it should be a do over.

The mansion was perfect for our family, 17 adults. It was very clean. Having the professional kitchen was a big plus. Lots of different places for the family to hang out. Loved having a table where we could all eat together. Would rent again.
