The Happy Place

Very well kept and cozy; it had everything we needed

The light was on, we had our own driveway, and the inside was quaint just like the pictures.

We had a lovely stay at The Happy Place. We had the entire place to ourselves. It was cozy, clean and quiet. We enjoyed having access to a lovely kitchen. The shower was excellent. We slept like babies after a long day of driving. Thank you to Emily and Curt for being excellent hosts.

Beautifully and artfully decorated, the Happy Place was indeed happy!!! The beds were amazing. Communication was prompt and welcoming! It was clean and comfortable. Definitely would recommend!!

The hardwood floors were unique. And the 1950 frig. It was perfect for the 2 of us.

We stayed here overnight and found The Happy Place to be conveniently located with easy access to restaurants and grocery store. Beds and couches were super comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. Some older homes smell musty but this was not the case in The Happy Place. I was especially pleased with the neighborhood, which felt very safe. We would definitely stay again!

Great property and excellent communication with the host!

The Happy Place is a perfect little house. I would have actually liked to know more about the property's history. We were very comfortable there-I loved the old Philco refrigerator that is still running perfectly. Interesting artifacts to explore. The shelving gave me ideas for my own little cottage in PA. Thank you Emily!

This was such a fun little house! It was very clean and cute with such unique decoration which made it even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend if you need a place to stay in the area!

Comfortable place with everything you would need for a short stay. Stopped here for a night between two days of long drives, and it helped refresh us and get ready to hit the road again. Dedicated driveway is very convenient, and the neighborhood is safe and great for walking dogs.

This is a great pet friendly place to stay! It is clean, has everything you need, in a great walkable neighborhood, and communication with the host is top notch!

Cute little place!

I really enjoyed my overnight stay at the Happy Place. As a single traveler it was perfect for me. Great excellent communication from the owner, and very easy check-in. The neighborhood is very quiet and close to everything you would need. The shower was great and the large bed was perfect! I had a fantastic stay at this property and might stay there again next year, if I make it to South Dakota.

Happy Place was a good description. It was a very quaint older home with creaky floors. It was a great central location for all our visits while in Sioux Falls. Even though we didn't require much, it looked to have everything we could need. The only complaint is that the house had a musty smell like the older basement was damp.

The sweet home was a perfect stopover with our two dogs. The house is clean, neighborhood walkable, and easy to access. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic decor, very cozy

The Happy Place was just what we were looking for in a small, cozy stay while visiting relatives in Sioux Falls. Emily's communication with us was excellent, and everything in the booking information was up to date and accurate. The home was clean and inviting, the beds were both comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped well enough to prepare simple meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Happy Place, and think you will, too!

After 6 days of travelling we finally had 2 nights great sleep. The home comes as advertised, quirky and fun with everything you require for a great stay. Hosts were great and very helpful with our questions, weather dropped overnight and the house was cozy and comfortable. Great area to walk a dog if you have one. I would highly recommend this for a short or longer stay.

Cute little house you can rent for one night. Convenient for dr appts. Dog friendly. Beds are appropriate for price point. Clean and cleverly decorated. Return customer.

We were traveling with our dog for just one night. The Hosts graciously accommodated a special request. Easy communication through the app. Home was well appointed with the kitchen and bathroom basics - just what you’ll need. Nice to be in a neighborhood to walk our dog as well.

The community was nice, and so was the neighbors. There are a lot of dogs in the area. There is a park to walk to and play in 2 blocks from the house. It was a nice walk and a great place to play. We all had a great time.

The house was perfect for a couple night stay for work. I loved how clean the house was and especially how comfortable the bed was. Would highly recommend and would stay again if I ever go back to Sioux Falls
