The Fur & Family Hideaway: A Place to Make Memories Together

My stay was excellent in every way possible from start to finish! I will definitely repeat my stay the next time I am in the area again. The accommodations, access, communication, and location was ideal!

The house is beautiful and spacious. It was very clean. Perfect for the 4 adults and two dogs we had in our group. Communication was great. The drawbacks for the property were as follows: air conditioning worked great…until you closed the bedroom doors at night. Then the rooms got very hot, Kitchen could have had more supplies, and the biggest drawback was that the beds were a little uncomfortable and the furniture in the living room was very uncomfortable. It was not really possible to sit comfortably in the living room at all. For the 5 days we stayed the lack of comfortable furniture was a little rough. There is also a lack of furniture in general in the bedrooms. No dressers and few side tables. It is a great location, and a great house, just a little difficult to get comfortable in if you stay for any length of time. If improvements were made the house would be absolutely amazing.

Clean! Muti-leveled areas. Great counter space in kitchen. Updated kitchen appliances. Enjoyed fenced in backyard and deck area. comfortable beds; quiet neighborhood; good water pressure in showers; 2 1/2 baths were nice. large dining table; Keypad access code worked well.

Great well appointed house that was perfect for our family. Outstanding, responsive communications with the host. Immaculately clean and everyone love the great memory foam mattress in particular.

From the area, being close to family was great. Visiting for a wedding was made way easier since we were able to bring our pup. The host was great, the neighborhood was nice and quiet, and the house was clean and easy to access. Would stay again.

The house was perfect for us and only 2 miles from my sister's place! It was set up well and had plenty of space.

The home is located in a very safe quiet neighborhood. We loved that the home is pet friendly. Plenty of towels were provided for the bathrooms and the kitchen is pretty well stocked for cooking. We were able to park a car in the garage since it snowed while we were there. The only issue is that there is limited seating space in the downstairs area where the only TV is located. There was one uncomfortable futon that could seat two people and two papisan chairs. There was another futon in the garage that appeared to be broken.

This home didn't exactly feel clean. Also, it states that it has two couches to sleep on, those in fact are not 'sleeping couches'. Definitely a let down on that front as we had to go buy air mattresses from Walmart that was close by. The other beds were just ok as well. I would say this house is just ok. Nothing too great about it!

A perfect stay for my husband and me with our adult children, nephew, and dogs. The kitchen was well appointed. Bedrooms were comfortable. Three bathrooms were a big plus. Fenced in backyard was perfect for the dogs. Living furniture wasn't comfortable and wasn't enough for us to sit together but that was the biggest issue. Host provided quick answers to questions.

This home was perfect for our family of 5 adults and an 18 month old. Our little dachshund enjoyed the fenced in yard too. It was close to family and the wedding venue for our beautiful niece’s wedding and had everything we needed.We will be back! Thank you for your hospitality!

Pros: Location and neighborhood was great. Host was responsive. Garage parking was nice. Cons: Dirty carpets, not enough basic necessities, weedy and unkept yard, uncomfortable furniture. Only one TV. No hand railing on the front steps. Shower floor was slick with no grab bars in the shower. No wash cloths,only 3 toilet papers and 2 paper towels for a 12 day stay. Host was contacted about not having basic necessities and responded by and Amazon delivery of the basics the next day.

The property was fantastic. Clean, spacious and perfect for our trip. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed the fenced in backyard. I dont think they ever felt real grass before! Lots of convenient places to get whatever is needed and downtown is only 10 min away. Perfect place to stay .

Stayed here for a baseball tournament/College Baseball World Series. Great location and perfect place to relax after hot days on the ballfield. Host was quick to respond to questions.

It was good. Nice quiet and clean neighborhood.Maybe provide a cookie sheet, leave extra paper products (at least a roll of toilet tissue in each bathroom and a paper towel in kitchen).

The property was located in a great neighborhood, clean and kid friendly.

The house it's self was very nice and well organized. It was clean. However when we arrived at 3:15 the cleaning person was still on-site working and we had to wait about 20 mins to be able to go inside, check in stated 3pm. Also the yard was not mowed and over grown. Had i had a pet or small children this would of been really disappointing as we would not of been able to spend time in the back yard. Also if you want to cook breakfast or anything with a skillet the pan selection is not user friendly. Overall it was a very nice house and worked very well for us. It is in a great location, close to Wal-Mart and other stores. We enjoyed our stay and had no major issues.

Very Clean home and spacious kitchen area. However, we were disappointed in a few things. The 3 beds were very soft and little support. NO BEDROOM DRESSERS at all. We had nowhere to put our clothes or unpack. Most people like to unpack if they are staying more than one night. We were in town for a formal wedding. There were 15 hangers for shirts but for a group of 6 adults that does not work. The two couches were really futons that were very uncomfortable to sit on. the large kitchen table was great for a crowd but terribly hard and uncomfortable to sit. NO wash clothes to shower or wash with. Only 9x 13 hand towels. The batteries for the remote to the TV were dead so no TV. Batteries were supposed to be delivered but never were. 3 days with no TV and furniture you could not stand to sit on for longer then 10 mins. It was a nice neighborhood and lots of shopping and eating options close by.

This house was so nice and clean. The beds were comfortable too. Very happy with our choice to rent this home for the night.

This place was everything we needed for being in town for a family wedding! Close to stores. The home itself was great! We were so happy to see the owner supplied coffee, creamer, laundry detergent and fabric softener. Not to mention Kleenex boxes fore every bathroom! Would stay here again!
