The Fort Pierce

We arrived and there were 2 police officers outside and the woman across the street was screaming about a restraining order. We didn’t feel safe and left immediately. I communicated this directly to the owner and he said he would contact the police to find out what was going on. I never heard back about this. The listing stated sleeps 5. There was no way 5 people could stay there unless you sleep on the air mattress that was thrown on the floor by the washer- not in any kind of bag. The pull out chairs were filthy. There was strange soundproofing panels on the wall in the bedroom and found out later that someone lives in the back room. I feel that we should have been reimbursed for the total cost based on the circumstances, but we were only reimbursed for half of the cost. I do not recommend you stay here.

We did not stay. The location looked very sketchy and when we went inside, the place had not been cleaned yet from the last visit. We did arrive about 2 hours early, so it is very possible it hadn't been cleaned yet. The location, however, did not appear safe at all.

Clean, close to beaches and jetty. Good neighbors and quiet.

We spent one month at this facility in february 2025. Contrarily to the advertising on Vrbo you don’t have access to all the house. There is a room on the back that is rented on short term basis. Guests arrive late in the evening and leave very early in the night. The acoustic insulation is inadequate and you hear everything from this room so you have absolutely no privacy.Everything is basic in the facility: furnitures, cooking ware, dishes etc… The pictures on tne Vrbo site look better than the place reality.A place to avoid is you want a quiet vacation.

Yard needed to be cleaned up. The inside was very neat and clean. It's in an older quiet neighbourhood, everyone was very friendly with a wave and good morning. Jacob, the owner was great to deal with. My wife and I plan to stay there again.
