The 9G was created and named after Williamson's very own 4-Star Air Force General and friend. To become a fighter pilot you must complete 9G's so this was the perfect name.
Very quiet and safe location to enjoy the Hatfield McCoy trails in the area located 1/2 mile away.

Stayed May 22, 2026We had a great stay at the 9G. Shawn, his wife, and the owner were perfect hosts and made us feel like old friends. Shawn was so helpful before and during the stay letting us know all the details about the property, neighborhood, Williamson, and nearby Pikeville where we attended a concert. The house is a spotless, beautifully updated midcentury home that is meticulously decorated with a combination of modern style and honoring the military with remarkable regalia. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need if you want to cook including a full size refrigerator and oven. The bathroom was spotless and had plenty of storage which was helpful. The couch and beds were very comfortable. We loved all the lighting throughout the home. It was a rainy weekend so we didn't get to test out the fire pit or trails but we will definitely be back. We can't say enough about the hosts! I've been staying in VRBOs and Air B and B's for many years and I've never had any like these! Thank you all for a memorable weekend!
